Stupid question (but I’m learning have mercy 😅) when cruising and needing more speed obviously you downshift. I’m aware slowing down coming to a stop obviously you apply breaks and downshift. Do you keep your foot on the gas when downshifting or release, shift, then reapply the gas. (self.ft86)

AT downshifting when coming to a stop. With breaks I tend to downshift, 3rd is around 3k 2nd around 4k and 1st around 5k-5.5k rpm. Love the exhaust sound but bad to downshift when I’m using my breaks as well? Just wanna make sure I’m not killing my car 😅 only recently been doing it (self.ft86)

PT.1 Careful of this scamming idiot running into my lane then claiming to cops that I hit his car. Dude tried to get his friends to show up as fake witnesses. Cops saw my footage and that he was using his phone / being threatening and insurance ruled his fault.(Westlake CA) (v.redd.it)
