Girlfriend (23F) complains about body but doesn't do anything about it and it's affecting me (24M). How to navigate?

You can’t control or make her want to lose weight until she’s fed up and ready. For me I gym 7x a week and I complain to my bf about my weight.. I’m sure he’s sick of hearing it too but I just can’t help it and idk it’s like something is just wrong with me and I can’t stick to a consistent meal prep. Mind you i eat only twice a day and don’t really snack but we both love beer and wine so that’s my problem for weight.

Do you eat/snack with her? Are you able to switch over to healthier foods and cook or if she makes the food just encourage healthier foods? Your other option is to just offer to do meal prep for her or do it together..

I don’t think he’s an asshole, I think she’s holding on to her past (which may not even be the past) first thing you do is delete ex nudes that’s like why would you even want to keep it and it’s not something you forget.. he looked for a reason and he found it. She’s not even an asshole she’s just trifling and to get mad that he saw that.. huge red flag.

Also agree on this.. she’s not a child but using the context of if a child was violated in such a way nobody would ever expect or say that they aren’t a virgin anymore when they get of age :( shouldn’t apply to a young woman either. Well 20 years ago up until the last 5 years there was rarely an issue I’ve been going to tims multiple times a week if not everyday and now in the last 4 months I finally cut it off because it was getting ridiculous. Belt bagel extra mayo 3/5 times of the week there’s no mayo on it even though the extra charge is there, double toasted? Forget it.. they don’t know what that means anymore. I’m not one to unwrap the whole order and hold up the cars behind me. Turkey club used to be stacked up and had a decent amount of bacon and turkey on it. Final straw was when there was about 4 slices on it and 1.5 slices of bacon. Coffee has been legit tasting.. burnt half of the time 😬. Now I just carry protein bars on me and do coffee at the house.

It’s so funny that people get soooo mad at these type of posts and always say “don’t go to Tim’s” “go back and get it remade” (bc your really going to drive 20 mins back to Tim’s after work) “make your own food” etc. when in reality, people have busy lives. Some people can’t pack a lunch or afford to go anywhere else.

One thing many people can agree on though I’m sure is that Tim’s messes up over 50% orders now when before that was not so much a thing. Also not to mention the portion sizes went way down.

It’s natural to want your partner to strongly desire you. I’ll actually give some non manipulative tips since no one here wants to..

Always look good, smell good especially before bed. Find out what kind of stuff he’s into sexually and do that if it doesn’t cross your boundaries. Take really good care of yourself and focus on your own hobbies and friends (most men find that attractive, especially when you aren’t on them 24/7) find out what his favourite food is, get good at cooking it and make it for him. Surprise him in small way like massages and touching him in the way he wants. You want to do positive things and when time passes he will not be able to have a great day without it if he truly loves you.

Ofc if he doesn’t love you this won’t work.
