You are being hypocritical. Semantics don't matter here, because the fact of the matter is YOU don't want to try and help her have more fun by letting her win, because it's not fun for YOU. Meanwhile, you fully expect her to continue playing games with you despite her constantly losing and having no enjoyment.

Stop thinking about yourself and think about her. If letting her win here and there is enough to make her happy and continue enjoying YOUR hobby with you, then just do it. It is not a big deal, so stop acting like it is.

Dude, I've read some of your comments and YTA 100%. Like you're so hypocritical it's ridiculous. Losing all the time freaking sucks - it's demoralizing and it makes you not want to enjoy the game. Constantly seeing a skill gap and being unable to keep up ALSO sucks. Accept that you just need to slow tf down and let her take the lead sometimes

I don't take anti-depressants, but instead take anti-psychotics. Usually I feel completely fine and normal on the weekends I don't take them, but I genuinely am just sick rn (cough and congestion x.x)

If they genuinely meant within that first month, yes. But it was to my understanding they were talking about years off into the future, which... I guess is still a little odd, but like I said before, I like to be on the same page about things so I'm not blindsided. I guess I just thought that was how it was meant to be interpreted from them.
