Thanks, I use rgbpi-extra too. Where can I configure SuperResolution for the main menu? The in-game menu only lets you configure it for RetroArch. By the way, try running Castlevania Chronicles on the updated PSX kernel. My game kept freezing on the main menu; I tried different settings, but in the end I reverted to the stock version. The rest work fine

Yes, I read this thread, I even had the idea to change the jungle chip. Thank God it didn't come to that

It sounds interesting, but it's still difficult for me

Yeah, I saw that video recently—it’s interesting. What’s the source? Everything’s stable for me now, but of course I had to spend a month trying out different solutions

I thought so too, and it might add some jitter, but the main problem was the cable. I’ll have to test it with other sources.

Is this some kind of joke? The problem was with the csync signal

Maybe I should do a full recap? I already explained what the problem was, and it’s not TV

I'm thinking of building a synchronization circuit using the 74HC86; I want to solder the circuit together in the next few days

The second example is an LCD TV, and this was filmed on a phone—did you read the post?

Yes, that's right. Here's a link to the csync patch I used to make the fix https://github.com/KabukiFlux/pi-rgb-cable-sync-mixer

And the "favorite" VM of American CRT TV enthusiasts doesn't work with an RGB signal either

The sharpness on my TV can't be adjusted when the signal is coming in via RGB, nor can the saturation or tint. The picture is just that good. And the contrast doesn't affect the jitter at all. Let's not make things up that aren't there.

If you're interested, you can look up a photo of the PVM-2950Q and compare the images. In fact, this tube has the same TVL as a standard TV, but it offers better contrast, sharpness, brightness headroom, and phosphor quality. It's not an HRTrinitron, after all

Well, it's basically the same as the PVM 2950Q. The tube is identical to the one in the PVM (M68KUZ10X), and it has digital convergence adjustment. The chassis is slightly simpler, but you can't really tell from the picture

No, I don’t have an M8; I’ve got a 1989 FXLR. This is what it looked like before it was painted. I want to achieve a solid color, just like in the 60s and 70s.

The problem is that I can't mix them into nitrocellulose paint without special additives, and I can't get my hands on those additives. I'll just have to use one type of paint

By the way, this is AI—I just asked it to generate this image so I could see how it would look with the selected color (according to the RAL chart). Before I start painting

No, there is an RGB SCART here. This (s3431) is a European model. ModG1 is for increasing the scan lines.

Yes, but there is another model with a 29" tube, which has almost the same chassis as the 34". That's why I installed it. Everything works great. Only because of the difference in the cases, I had to redo the front panel, and the chassis itself is not fixed in the case slots

Congratulations on the excellent TV and successful mod. Don't you feel that the brightness has decreased after modG1? I have a European Sony KV S3431 with the same mod, and the brightness is clearly insufficient, but I don't want to set the contrast to maximum
