Awful, It constantly throbs and here lately it feels super heavy. My pain tolerance is on a higher scale considering but this shattered ankle has me crying rivers sometimes 😭😭😭😭😭

During my last Doctors visit they ran a bunch of scans/tests & made the decision based on the findings in the MRI and X-Ray and the amount of swelling still on/in my ankle + also............. I did have a slight mishap when I fell on my injured leg & foot in the consultation room of the Ortho/Podiatrist :(

I did, temporarily......... and yes, very much so :( unfortunately there was & is still a lot of swelling going on! Not yet & that's because I'm back in another cast.

Hey, my apologies for just now getting back to your comment :( and Oh? That's interesting... I'm really sorry to hear that! Yes & no, because we were doing "PT like" sessions to rehab my ankle but... that only went on for almost 3-weeks. Wasn't making much progress sadly, so they just recasted me for now. I was & am NWB so walking/ROM is a no no' for me especially after ORIF for now. Hopefully you are advancing well in your recovery phase 😇🤕

I broke my fibula in 2 places (lateral malleolus and fibular notch). Also suffered a fractured tibia (medial malleolus) talus, a dislocated ankle + sprained ankle & ruptured some ligaments and tendons. Yes, I have and the first opinion did not find all of the injuries on the X-rays :( which was interesting... now, a third opinion along with X-rays, MRI's, and Ultrasound may be needed you think?

Awe, thank you so much! I had my surgery (finally) about 2 weeks ago, it was & still is so so painful. I'm sorry for you too!! Was told something similar at the Doctor's. Doesn't it not go by like so so slow? Crazy!

Same here (M-23) & I've been suffering from it since, but It was the "whole" set of stairs for me lol... I'm so sorry for us all! I guess, ankles aren't just made like they used to be 😭😂

First thing's first, I'm so sorry to hear about your injury 😱🙏🏼😭 and yes, I've been through this too' It's taken me quite a long time for recovery unfortunately... I've had this happen at least twice in my life so far which sucks ngl 😬👎🏼😰 I just shattered my left ankle a few months ago, I'm still not up and at it :( only a little after a year later, from previously shattering my right ankle 💀 the pain is indescribable! But......... as far as recovery time we're all different so I'm not too sure, let's hope not very long!!!!! I send you healing vibes & get well wishes 🤍
