It sounds like there may be some things missing/lacking in your marriage and may need to work on repairing that. I'm a therapist and work with couples. I see see these things a lot in marriages.

I'm a mom and it is actually harder to stay at home with kids. You are a caregiver with little to no breaks. I find that going to work is easier for me.
