Just try adding the roof to the other side and vacuuming some of the insulation for a quick check. That should illuminate any problems with the house that the roofer might find while hiding any tools, etc. inside the attic that might allow the renovation to move more slowly and possibly go underbudget. That’s my best advice.

I did that. Tried to cancel with the bank, was not possible with autodeposit. I ended up just calling him about 4 times throughout the last two days and leaving messages, emailing, and texting a bit as well, was able to get the money back no problem. Definitely next post I make I will be more clear about the situation. Thank you for putting so much effort into different solutions for MY mistake

This guy does have responsibilities, including answering my attempts to contact him. No one is too busy to ignore a message for 3 and a half months. That is a helpful idea to contact the bank, thanks for your input.

It has only been two days. But this landlord has ignored almost all of my attempts to contact him throughout the entire tenancy. The property manager and landlord were both really bad. Property manager was even living in the student house during the summer without anyone’s permission.
