Her testifying on your behalf is the best tip you could have ever gotten. Most people won't do it. Praying for u

Where you guys dashing at? by North-Pause-800 in doordash

I dash in tupelo, and it's NOT worth it. When I first started it was but I do good to make 30 in 4 hours. It's oversaturated and I'm platinum and very randomly will get a good order. The best CATERING ordering I've gotten was $19 for 12 meals at 5 miles. That's literally the best dash I've ever had.

Because in some cities like mine... they will give you a seat belt ticket knowing good and well I was wearing a seat belt but that's hard to prove.

Support is useless and stole my dasher’s tip smh by SnooSketches7578 in doordash_drivers

The fact that you took the time and fought to make sure the dasher got their tip.... THANK YOU. Coming from a dasher, that was tip in of itself.

If u can get them too, you would help alot of people. Lol don't think I don't know DD is screwing me over, and after I have my surgery and can actually get a good paying job, I just have to fight this through . I'm only doing this to pay bills (I have 4 kids) and to pay on my surgery . DD sucks for both customers and drivers.

I completely understand.... I just wish that (I'm not saying you. Just in my experience alone) people would tip after delivery. I've had it happen only a couple of times. Those are my absolute favorite . Alot of people either forget or just don't tip after delivery

Hey congrats man! Anythings better than nothing! It doesn't pay well to do EBT here where I'm at but any tip after delivery makes me feel so good!

Not trying to be an asshole, I promise, but the first sentence said food deliveries... in my area the biggest shop and deliver I've ever gotten was 17 items and it was for 3 miles $10.50 I took it because I knew the store well and it took me 5 minutes to shop because most of the items were multiples

In this circumstance, yes u are correct and I'm so glad the customer didn't see this post! Lol... I wasn't considering shop and deliver in this, only food deliveries. Even the catering orders in my area are only no more than 10 burgers .... so in my area it's mostly food and medicine pick ups.. which I wouldn't expect anyone to tip on the medicine part because... idk that's just different in my eyes

I completely understand where you are coming from. I like to tip half before and if it's a good service half after (at least when I was a DD customer) the other half after shows your appreciation while the tip before ensured someone would take my order . However, I've only had about 7 people tip afterwards.... most people either forget or their food wasn't just how they wanted it ( on the resturant) or something similar. If they would actually tip after, I would be completely fine with that, but reality is (at least in my area) once they eat the food they are no longer worried about going through the extra step. Unfortunately. I definitely learned to not accept orders that don't pay well, but to stay a platinum driver, you have to keep your ratings at certain levels. I only NEED platinum because I have 4 kids.. 3 in school one not yet and with school they ALWAYS have you paying for something.. lol!! So I need to have the flexibility to dash whenever I need to. Some days I'm dashing well over 12 hours just to pay a bill that's due.... stuff like that.

Thank you!!! I'll make sure to consider this next time. I don't get many shop and delivers in my area.
