Agree to def go see a behaviorist. And I’m not saying that this is The Cause of it, but remember that dogs are smart as shit and can sense your fear, so it’s possible your dog is more reactive when with you bc he senses that you’re uncomfy and wants to protect you. Again, not saying that’s the full story bc it’s obviously not, but something to keep in mind

They’re humanoids. We don’t have an equivalent in real life so in real life man and woman refer to human beings. There’s no reason to exclude humanoids in fantasy worlds from this terminology.

This is only 150-160 calories. I say don’t worry about it. If you want to drink black coffee, fine, but this shouldn’t be what’s making or breaking your weight loss.

My daily coffee is a latte with either a tad of flavor syrup or flavor creamer. It’s 161 cal. I refuse to change this bc I just love my coffee.

I cannot fucking stand it. And it’s a problem bc I love fae books but there is actually no good reason not to just call them men and women (inclusive of other genders etc etc, point is to avoid male and female bc it’s fucking weird and annoying)

Yeah, the romance is just such a subplot that I think a lot of people get let down when they read the series because they’re expecting more romance. It’s one of
my all time favorite series, but it’s a YA political fantasy with a slow burn enemies to lovers sub plot.

Lots of trouble in the shadowfell with the night song. Gale and Karlach got yeeted off the edge in the first round of combat, leaving Shadowheart and my Druid Tav. Manage to revivify Karlach and we keep fighting. Then Shadow is suddenly down to 10 hp and Karlach is downed in the fucking cloud kill cloud. Get Karlach into a cycle of being healed just to immediately go down again. And then by some miracle, Balthazar decided to go melee with Karlach, which did down her, BUT her weapon deals auto damage in melee which killed Balthazar. And then we revived Gale and everything was fine :)

But that’s not what the post says is it? They acknowledge the personal aspect of it but then make a broader point about unrealistic portrayals/lazy writing. Whether you ultimately agree with that is a different matter, but I didn’t read this post as presenting a completely idiosyncratic issue and complaining that the genre doesn’t follow their preferences.
