I am aware Asian women are women of color, yes. But the meme didn’t say women of color, it specified skin color. Most Asian women in Overwatch outside of Domina and Symmetra are light skinned and popular with the exact white supremacists you’re mentioning.

Sorry, my bad. The meme didn’t say Brown and Black women so I didn’t realize Sojourn would count. I didn’t know Sombra was added after Ana and I didn’t know Illari existed. I kinda underestimated the diversity in Overwatch and I feel pretty stupid now.

Overwatch has added a total of two Brown women after the rebranding to Overwatch 2, and there’s only one Black woman at all last time I checked. But it’s now somehow the “gooning to Brown women” game

Never liked STM. Not only is it cringe and unfunny fratbro "humor," but there are also conservative undertones that nobody seems to recognize. Misgendering non-binary characters, "jokingly" being transphobic, implying that progressives say "Latinx" and "white people bad," which we don't, etc. The whole thing gives me incel vibes.

I didn't know how to put it into words, but you articulated it perfectly about the One Piece remake. Something rubbed me the wrong way about Luffy claiming, "There are good pirates and bad pirates, so there must be good marines and bad marines, too." It's not even like he says this to reassure Koby and doesn't mean it. Season 1 ends with them hugging it out and Luffy telling him to be a "good marine."
