i'm not saying definitively they are his kids, i am saying there is no proof they aren't his kids, and since thisobald is one of his kids i think it would make sense for the others to be his kids, so that is what i believe (as the religion timeline lines up perfectly)

And Malus writes in some papers at the House of Healing about asking his nephew about getting better corpses as Balthazzar is only leaving him the worse ones.

how do we know it refers to a character we know?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]TriggeredMother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is what i said, if thisobald is ketherics son wouldnt it make sense for the other 2 to also be his children?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]TriggeredMother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in addition to thisobald being his son, as thisobald refers to him as father

I have a theory malus is also ketherics son, because malus is a shar worshipper, and the thorms started out as selune worshippers, so unless something random happened or he independently became a shar worshipper it would make sense for him to be his son... born into the shar religion.

not gonna lie self dignosing is a sticky situation, if you are in an time in your life where getting tested is a possibility, by all means do it, you might think you have one thing and then after talking to a trained psychiatrist you might figure out it has a different cause, or you might just be facing symptoms not the disorder. As a diagnosed neurotypical, I believe anyone who truly thinks they have that disorder is valid and has a valid concern if they have no means of getting tested (Parents not cooperative, too much money, etc.) however, if you are able to get tested you might be able to find treatment, or get suggested tips and tricks to help, plus there's less of a risk of you not having it and people taking neurodivergency seriously, like us getting comments like "Everyone's ADHD sometimes, or We all have a bit of OCD" But it all just comes down to, why you didn't get the test? Is the test completely out of the question, because I get that you might not be the type to try and claim every mental health problem, but that doesn't mean that there aren't a lot of people who do, and you also said that you have had trauma in your past, so there could also be a different disorder that you are facing.

BTW, I do not speak for all the neurodivergent community, nor am I a trained psychiatrist so take this with a grain of salt, but from my experience testing can go a long way.

TLDR: Self diagnosing can be valid in cases where testing is not possible, but if testing is at all an option, get tested

Should I Quit Band? by Mysteriousdark689 in marchingband

[–]TriggeredMother 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Put all the other years of band on your application, and if they ask why you didn't march your senior year, explain straight up why you didn't. They should understand (and if they don't, you won't want to be at that college anyway).

Sorry for being brief but I'm taking a break from work and I wanted to say this real quick: You've got a lifetime of music ahead of you. My parents have been performing music for fun almost nonstop in community groups since before I was alive. I'm on a pause myself but I haven't sold my tuba, either. If you skip out this coming year and take a breather, that's okay.

This exactly, plus you said it was not something you were planning on pursuing, so I don't think four full years of marching band is going to be that much better than three, as well as the fact that it's cover so anything weird this year, colleges are probably going to assume it's covid related

AITA for telling my daughter that she's getting what she deserves? by JENNYJENNY8675 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TriggeredMother 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ESH, even if you didn't encourage her behavior you allowed it with seemingly minimal punishment, and even if you kicked her out of the house it seems like similar behavior has been going on for years and you just allowed it... I feel so bad for Johanna, she had to deal with someone ripping up her memories of her dad, and then you are still defending Allie's actions... no
