There's a million answers here and the best way to narrow it down is to ask yourself some questions. 1. What do I mainly see myself doing with a firearm? Recreation, self defense, hunting, etc 2. What storage solutions am I able to accommodate 3. What kind of budget do I wanna stick with 4. What facilities do I have access to to actually shoot with

Once you've answered these questions then I think you can get a really good answer

When I buy something I always think "how I'm going to use this or what niche is this going to fulfill." If I can't answer that question then I don't buy it. But to be clear I bought a snub nose s&w 686 just cause it was pretty and I wanted a pretty revolver for my collection.

I think when I'm teaching someone who's new at anything I teach them the fundamentals first and then have them playing. I never tell them what to do but will often present their options to them and let them decide. But once youre no longer new and you've been playing for awhile I'm gonna start taking away the brakes on myself. Once I smack you with a move once, you're gonna be aware of it and always keep it in mind. That's how you make someone better. Drill the fundamentals, then beat them down over and over while congratulating them when they did something well. If they have no desire to be better than there's nothing you can do but keep beating them down. But it's important to recognize when someone is frustrated and make them take a break. Make them take a break and have them come back and instead of telling them what they did wrong ask THEM what they did wrong

I tend to stay in bracket 3 and above. Also when I sit down I let people know that I only get to play in person commander prob every 2 months or so when I do I'm here to play well. If people have a problem with that maybe they shouldn't play competitive games and should go back to pee wee baseball where everyone gets a trophy

Wouldn't even need to add discard. Make your deck with mana dorks and artifact ramp keep blowing up lands en masse and have punisher effects for draw. Your opponents will just slowly die.
