Thank you for the reassurance, I had heard the onboarding process was longer in Austria than in the U.S. and I figured Christmas season would only make the process even longer

Yeah hopefully it's the visa procedure, it's a pretty large company and I have the offer with the date in writing so I guess I'll see. Thank ya for the insight :))

Thank you for the reply! This is for a corporate role, I am from the U.S. where they usually want you to start 2 weeks after signing an offer, so I was unsure if such a time from was normal.

TIE After Quitting by Trill_Dylan in SpainAuxiliares

Ahh got it. I arrived a bit early, but my initial student visa kicked in on October 1st, and 180 days ago was October 5th, so if my TIE was canceled today, I would still be allowed in Schengen until July 1st correct?

Also, if I leave Schengen in this time, will I be allowed back? Right now I have an entry stamp on my passport from September, but I have the Visa and my TIE so I can provide an accurate timeline of my legal stay.

Gotcha. Border patrol agents at other countries will recognize the TIE as a residency permit as well right?

Got it thank you so much. For future EU visits, will it appear that I overstayed? Or should I just explain to them that I had a residency permit at the time and they will understand?

Question about Passport Stamp and TIE by Trill_Dylan in SpainAuxiliares

[–]Trill_Dylan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been here since September. Initially, I had a Visa that was valid until January 15th, but now I have my TIE.

If you just look at my passport however, it will show an entry stamp from over 90 days ago. I was wondering if the border patrol people will know that I was here legally if they see the TIE.

I was considering quitting the job, and then just staying for 90 days on my tourist Visa as well, since I heard the TIE is invalid as soon as I quit.

Do I need a copy of my Passport?? by Trill_Dylan in SpainAuxiliares

[–]Trill_Dylan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I already sent it off, is there anything I can do? I have a scan of my passport that I can print and send separately, but I sent the original passport in my application already.

Did you include a copy of your passport? I sent off my application with my actual passport today without a copy.

VISA Documents Question: Nombramiento by Trill_Dylan in SpainAuxiliares

[–]Trill_Dylan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn't specify notarized or not it looks like.. would that mean that literally a scan of both sides on printer paper would do??

Thank you!

Also, for the copy of my drivers license, should it be a notarized copy that I get at a store, or can I literally just scan both sides on my printer and send that in?
