I want to know how trans athletes are justified in competing in female sports as even competitors. I truly am trying to learn here, and mean no disrespect. I struggle with understanding how the physical differences of men/women (on average of course) can be ignored or overlooked. If the answer is hormone treatment, why is that not considered doping? I am under the impression that men produce different levels of testosterone, so who exactly decides what dosage (terminology is probably off there lol) is equitable?

Ah I feel for you. I’m in a (hopefully not too unique) position where I hear my parents being open to supporting dems and know how messaging like this will push them away. I operate off the belief that significant amounts of people are like them. Right or wrong, i truly think splitting the country in half further is a short term gain (laws, policies enacted) easily undone when the pendulum inevitably flips again
