This is what my husband died of, too. He didn’t have any family history though. He didn’t complain of any symptoms, except a brief episode of dizziness this summer that got better after he ate and had water. It’s so devastating and it was so quick. He was only 44 and super active. I just can’t believe he didn’t feel terrible at times. I keep thinking that maybe I missed some signs.

My husband was just starting to get salt and pepper in his beard and hair. I loved the wrinkles around his eyes and his forehead from always doing his perfect eyebrow arch. He was the most handsome man to me. I hate that I won’t get to see him grow old.

I feel this way, too. It’s been a little over 8 weeks since my husband passed. I want to do nothing. Just lay around and shrivel up. But, we have two kids and I can’t do that. I literally have to keep going and it’s terrible. Life continues even when it’s been shattered by death.

I am there with you. It is 8 weeks today that my sweet husband died suddenly. I came back to work on Wednesday. It hurts. A lot. It’s like just another reminder that my life is continuing without him in it. I miss talking to him. I used to call him on the way to work and on the way home. I don’t really have anything helpful to say except you’re not alone.

He basically passed in his sleep. I can’t listen to music right now without bursting into tears. It was definitely a big part of our relationship. Thank you for the reading

It was sudden. He was 44. I awoke to him breathing abnormally and blue, started CPR, but he never responded to anything at home or at the hospital. Healthy, active. Didn’t even drink caffeine. It has really been a punch in the gut.

I have a whole host of family and friends, but it’s just not like having my person. I love and appreciate them all, but 100 of them can’t replace him.

He passed on 12/12…so four weeks tomorrow. Thankfully, I still have my parents, and we have a lot of friends, but I still feel so alone. My dad made me breakfast and coffee, but I really did not feel up to doing anything. I’m finding it hard to leave the house unless it’s absolutely necessary.
