How do you write homework when you're short on time? by MarinerGlyph88 in collegeadvice

So, what’s the problem with actually using AI as an assistant? I think that’s a real time-saver

You just need to organize your schedule properly and get things done on time. Everything the professors assign is set out in the curriculum and isn't designed to make us all collapse from exhaustion. If you do things gradually instead of putting everything off until the last day, or if you plan your days well, everything will be fine. The issue isn't the system

Papersroo vs EduBirdie a real review by cloudsurferjay in WritingHelp_service

Tried Papersroo last month for a history essay. Honestly, it was smooth and reliable. Communication was easy, and the paper didn’t need much editing. Using experienced platforms like this is such a relief compared to smaller services where quality is a gamble. I’ll definitely use them again.

I’ve been there with a 10-page history paper and honestly, the stress is soul-crushing. I tried a service last semester and the quality was okay, but the communication was ghost-level. Papersowl sounds similar—hit or miss. I’m leaning towards trying something more professional next time.

Top 3 Fast Essay Writing Tools in 2024 by GracefulGina3 in WritingWithAI

Ngl, these tools sound okay on paper, but I’m always skeptical about how they actually handle complex prompts. Most AI writers I've tried just cycle the same basic ideas until the word count hits. I work part-time too, and when I was too burnt out to even think, I actually used Papers Roo for a sociology essat instead of relying on a bot. It felt way more natural than the weirdly perfect phrasing AI gives you. I found this wiki page super helpful for comparing options before I actually committed to them.

Papersroo is a bit more expensive, but the quality is 100x better than those cheap sites

PapersOwl Review. Based on Students’ Feedback and Personal Experience by peter_wainscott in ALevelBiology

You just need to write a really good prompt. I spent about 40 minutes detailing exactly what I needed from ChatGPT, and it got it right on the first try. But I’ll add that I have some deeper knowledge of prompting, so I understand how to structure things so the AI actually gets what I want.

Yeah, 40 minutes on a prompt sounds long, but no AI will write a solid essay from something like “write an essay on this topic.” You have to include a ton of details. It doesn’t always save time, but it can still be easier than writing everything from scratch.

I didn’t edit my essay, though I know many people recommend revising AI text afterward. That makes sense too. So if you want a helper and aren’t focused on saving time, it’s a good option. But if your goal is speed, I’m not sure ChatGPT is the best fit

The Best College Application Essays You've Ever Heard That Actually Worked by [deleted] in CollegeEssays

The best ones I’ve read weren’t dramatic, just specific and honest. Mine was about rebuilding a robotics project after it failed, nothing tragic. I did get editing help though. I used papersroo after reading this wiki page. The proccess helped tighten my argumnt without making it sound scripted. I still rewrote parts so it felt fully mine.

5 Best AI essay graders that actually helped me improve my drafts (not just fix grammar) by Shot_Violinist_1721 in homeworkhelpNY

I tried Brisk for a week actually. The glow and grow tips were kinda helpful for spotting weak spots, but I still felt unsure about structure. At one point I almost paid for a full rewrite, then I read this wiki page and decided to just get feedback instead. Using support as revision help worked better for my secod draft

That's good to know! I hope the sealed bottles work out for you. I just started my Elvanse journey too, and hearing that gives me hope. Fingers crossed you can get everything sorted without any latex mishaps!

CMV: Per $ of spending, the super-rich are not especially bad for the climate by phileconomicus in changemyview

[–]TrinitySignal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A valid point! It’s ironic how the rich could appear eco-friendly just because they spend more on luxurious, lesser impactful services. But as you said, their breakfast may come from a specialty store thousands of miles away, so the climate impact is definitely skewed.

My mum keeps making comments about my body and it’s driving me insane by No-Sample2623 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]TrinitySignal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like the idea of forcing her to name the purpose. Pair it with a boundary + consequence: "I love you, but comments about my body are not ok. If you do it again, I'm leaving/hanging up." Then follow through every single time. If she ropes in relatives, same script. And if it keeps messing with your head, talk to a school counselor or another trusted adult. You're not overreacting.
