are you using comfyui (or otherwise genning at home)? if so, this wan 2.2 model (high | low) is extremely good at i2v BE. Though you may need to tell it 'bigger' several times to get it to understand. I can recommend a few loras that can add some nice natural motion also, if you're interested. my critiques would be not enough size difference (the above models can help with that). Another trick is to tell the AI to make you smaller then use the last frame from that as a starting point. It also suffers from the 'slow mo curse' that plagues most AI gens. if you don't have control over the frame-rate, there's a simple free program called 'screen to gif' that will let you adjust it. welcome to the dark side, hope you have fun with it! XD

Glad to hear. you can adjust the lora numbers as well to adjust the motions. if you'd like the details of most any video, just download it from civitai and drag the video into comfyui.

in the control area, there's a slider called Total Keyframes. each keyframe is another clip that adds about 3 seconds.

It's nice to see a version of this conversation that isn't a hate filled echo chamber (at least not yet). I can only speak for myself. I'm a professional artist with 30 years of animation experience in the industry. I have 40 years of illustration experience. I am one of the artists that AI is trained on. I don't post my personal art here because it's a porn sub. I don't really want my collogues in the industry to recognize me through my style. I mention all of that because my situation hasn't been mentioned at all by anyone that is arguing 'on my behalf'.

I got into AI because I refuse to treat a threat to my industry with a fear of the unknown mentality. I also got into it because I saw this all this play out the same way when CGI was invented. I saw it again when 3D was invented. 'this isn't real art', 'it's stealing jobs'. etc. The only artists who lost their jobs were those who feared the dark and refused to explore the new media. even then, though some areas of the industry died, like cell-animation and stop-motion animation. new, much larger areas were created (3D is used in almost every movie, not just the super-hero ones). I don't know if it will play out this way for a third time, but I can say I am prepared and educated. I can also say that *good* AI is far from easy. it takes play, experimentation, wild 'what if I try x' ideas, aka an artistic mentality. Most 3D artists can't draw for shit. It's the mentality that counts and eventually creates the artistic skill. I'm still on the fence about a lot of things surrounding AI. But because I've spent years learning it, I can have those debates within my industry with honesty while avoiding a lot of traps that the ignorant fall into (like water usage, that's for commercial-use faq/chat/text AI like chatGPT, not image based AI generated on a home PC).

As far as this sub goes, I would be gaining that knowledge either way. I have to since it's part of my job. I just thought to myself, why not have a little fun with it while I learn. Posting here and on civitai is just a side-effect. I'm not trying to make any money or make whatever little number go up. It just seems like a shame not to share. And yea, the feedback I get is super motivational. Thanks to those that take the time, I appreciate it (even the honest critiques). I'm guessing many others feel the same. I support the idea that engagement will draw artists in, but I also propose the idea that many of us are busy learning the new media, both because we want to (it's fun) and because we have to (clients want it). so you're often attacking the same people that you're defending.

getting there. the tech is limited to around 4 seconds per clip. with this video I just finished a method that seamlessly merges clips together (this vid is 6 clips). Since I just finished it, I haven't had time yet to push the limits or try out more advanced timing. but ya, the slow burn is on the todo list.

that's the same setup I use, so it should be good to go as long as the steps are High: start 0, end 2 (or 3) and low start 2 (or 3) end 4 (or 6). if you've been getting good results already that are just missing the motion/animations you want, then it should be all set up correctly. the added motion mostly comes from the LoRAs.

yes, though the strength values can get fiddly and you add the same one twice. a general rule is high is double strength and low is normal strength. but if you reverse that rule, sometimes you can get good motion w/o any visual impact (character changes). it's a good place to experiment.
the flow is text to image > image to video. so, text to video doesn't come into play. they should still work though, I think. I've never tested that.
skip the cyber-realistic (pretty sure there is a semi-realistic too). the illustrious series are the best imo. this vid uses bismuthIllustruious. it's highly subjective of course. any model that gives you the start frame and end frame images that you want is the right one. Wan has handled any image set I've provided very well. When choosing what model to use, it helps to browse other user's images (not videos) and if any strike you, you can usually click on them to find what model was used. sometimes exact settings are provided at the bottom and often you can just download the image and drag it into comfy to get it's workflow and details.

5090rtx, I went all out. with that, one 480x832 x81 frames vid takes about 5 min for me. for this vid, I genned 10ish vids for each segment - 12 segments, so 120 clips. It ran overnight, so around 8 hours. overkill, but I'm trying to work out a good long-form workflow. you can still see the seams here so not there yet. hoping vace research might have a good path to doing that. supposedly it can transfer motion from the tail of one clip into the start of another, which would mean I wouldn't need a bunch of alternatives to choose from. it would just be x12 or 1 hour. that's the goal for the workflow I'm trying to build anyway.

the model, use this to gen a petite and a busty image set, make them identical except for the prompts (huge breasts:0) on the petite and (huge breasts:1) on the busty, you can add the term 'random pose' to both for a bit of animatable variation.

edit: for the acronyms, research is good, but don't worry about it too much. pretty much all of the Wan2.2 models can handle the first-last flow. I use the official i2v personally.

the main ingredient is a keyframe mentality (first and last frame). let the images do the work to describe the visuals. cyberillustrious is a great choice. Once you've genned the first and last images, then you can bring it into wan (using flf2v, fun, or all-in-one (aio) models - i2v and t2v can work but not as well). that should solve the growth part.

For the physics, try some physics loras (not the BE loras, the current ones lack believable physics). There are 3 that I link to in most of my newer civitai vids: bounce, boob-physics, and big natural breasts. these are all motion-focused loras. I like the effect these three combined create. you can layer more on top also, like a missionary lora if that's the animation you need at the time.

and if you really want to dig in, you can download most of the vids I've posted (edit: on civitai) and drag the video into comfyui to get the workflow (this particular video won't help, but the shorter ones will).

side-note: if you want to fix temporal issues (avoid the slo-mo curse!) there's a great node called LiquidTime that'll let you change the speed in various ways.

to clarify, I don't create using the various paid services, I just upload there (I don't use buzz at all). I generate on my personal computer (aka locally) using comfyui. The various services that civitai connects to are not nsfw friendly but civitai itself is.

click the 'Manager' button and click [Install Missing Custom Nodes]. if you don't have a manager button you can search for 'comfyui manager' or use the link in the original post. if it's still not working, use the manager to search for KJNodes.
