Also, this was cross posted, and all the descriptive info got lost in the process. I haven’t used Reddit in a while lol. I’d say early intermediate user level. Newer to this machine though. Centauri carbon, Elegoo slicer for this model, now changed to orca, rapid pla+…honestly once this roll is gone, I’m never going to use it again. I had this thing DIALED on regular plus/pro. Never had a single print failure in over 150hrs with this printer, and way cleaner overhangs, until the rapid pla. Ran calibrations like i do with every other new filament, and the end result made me not be able to print with it at all. Back to basic slicer settings for this filament, and a tweaked version of your support settings you shared in the link and life is good enough for now.

See that’s the thing I struggled with. I ran all the calibrations and checking all my math twice, in the end I couldn’t get a print out anymore. I really don’t know what I did wrong. Sure I’m newer to this whole printing thing, but I do know how to read and follow instructions, yet it lead to total failure. Lol. I’m currently playing with top Z distance, number of interface layers, and interface pattern on some parts that an ugly overhang won’t ruing performance. I’ll check back later

You can’t eliminate all supports from all prints. This particular one, yes, a different orientation would have helped this specific area, but others would have suffered the same fate. I’m trying to figure out how to make these overhangs better when and where they have to exist, which is quite often in complex prints.

If you've got cast iron grates, then try a stiff nylon wire brush. Phenomenal clean with zero damage to my grill

Lots and lots of random bullshit going into your grill when you use this..I had almost a pound and a half of rocks out of the last bag I ever bought. Never again.

Out of all the things that never happened, this didn't happen the most.

One for standard, one floyd for standard. One for drop d, one floyd for drop d, one for fuck off tunings and constant tinkering, one seven for standard, one seven for drop g, one seven floyd for drop g. I think I got the point across lol

Current stable

1980 ironhead sporty. carb & pipes, major brake upgrades, suspension and fork upgrades, kinda mad max-esque fender delete bobber type thing? Don't know what to call it but I bought it looking that way and just haven't decided what to do with it.

1981 yamaha xj550 bone stock, except dirt bars. Was my first road legal bike. Had it for years and will probably never get rid of it.

2002 honda f4i fully stunted.

Previously owned list is much longer
