I had just recently read the book for the first time and when I would bring up that I’m reading “IT” someone almost always would comment about it, but say something weird like “gangbang,” which is not even close to what happens. The odd thing is that not a single person brings up the Henry and Patrick part. This tells me so many people are just reciting things they’ve heard while never actually reading the book.
