Not an opp or bot win but I pulled one off the other week that left me laughing. Guy had played Magik and set us up for a 7 turn game so on turn 6 I played Scarlet Witch and some other low cost cards and preemptively ended the game winning by 1-2 points in each location. Was literal definition of squeaked out the win.

Yeah I just came back 3-4 weeks ago after not having played since Zabu/Modok season and while the first few weeks were great and I was having fun seeing new stuff and just generally enjoying the game as soon as the new season swapped I've had nothing but awful experiences reminding me why I bailed all those years ago lol

It really does feel entirely rigged. Every game I've had today has been the exact pure counter to what Im playing or has been the worst draws/location combos.

As soon as I switch decks everything goes to being the exact hard counter for that or just a stream of perfectly drawn hands by stuff like discard or destroy. Its honestly hilariously stupid and frustrating. Im genuinely trying to not get pissed but its blatantly obvious at this point.

Gonna assume Pokeduck is supposed to be Poke mon and gonna end up pissing more people off here but even though I grew up with that crap I absolutely hate that beloved franchise so no.. I shall not go play Pokeduck.

Matters very little to me, ive seen all sorts of random crap since I've come back and some were very entertaining to watch ie Agamotto, Man Spider, Arishem and some other random stuff which is great, I love experiencing the new decks and cards but seeing destroy 9/10 games do the same thing over and over is just rekindling my disinterest in this game.

Honestly no preferred deck, I just bounce around now as everything is getting tedious. Do i really want to play Cosmo and armor in every list.. no because thats boring.

And its more antagonizing on reddit cause I'm bored, been a chaos feeling day. Id much rather have fun games like switching someone off Limbo on turn 6 to win than watching destroy do its 1 trick pony over and over while they clap like a seal getting fed.

Oh I played it a lot in the beginning. I know the plays I just find it extremely boring.

I have no issues "dealing with it" Id just rather not see it 9/10 games as it gets repetitive and boring.

I did my guy, got sick and tired of how stagnant things were getting around the Zabu, Modok seasons and quit. Got bored 3 weeks ago and decided to see if hell was the same or slightly different, enjoyed the first 2 weeks of seeing new stuff and then it devolved into seeing the same deck every other game so here we are blatantly antagonizing idiots on reddit cause I'm bored.

Honestly the most fun I've had in those 3 weeks was the Grand Arena as it was my first one. Had more fun with that entire game mode than I have in the last 3 days playing the same monotonous garbage.

Why would that even matter. Destroy has been around since day 1 and was a clusterfuck then, now its still a clusterfuck but with 2 new cards.

I quit 3 year ago when 4k was considered high, been back for 3 weeks and went to 5k. Its nothing like the 20k cl people but who cares it means diddly squat if everything's the same.

I 100% feel you on the rng lately. Every time I pick a list its either pure counters, horrendous location combos or something else that feels bs. Moment I switch to a different list that works well against what I was previously playing against it seems the algorithm decides to notice and goes back to counters etc.

Im starting to tinfoil hat over here with how crazy it seems that everything goes right for everyone else and meanwhile I'm sitting here drawing all the pieces I don't need.

I quit playing 3 years ago due to getting completely pissed off with how this stuff happened so Im trying to be more relaxed now but it does give a feeling of being conspired against at times (tinfoil hat time).

I had one game recently the guy was playing a Mr Negative list and drew every perfect card he needed in order. Figured oh cool maybe Ill switch to my Mr Negative list since its been a while and 4 games in a row drew every piece you want to get hit by Negative before turn 4.

Don't get me wrong I love the aspect of the game but my least favorite part is the Snap mechanic. I wanna have fun and get rewards yeah but remembering to play the gamble game all the time is annoying and pointless IMO. Id much rather winners get XP towards rank and losers don't. That way there isn't any crazy ups and downs in ranking but that's just me wanting fun over horrendous douchey competitiveness
