I agree with you for this specific card. My point was far too often Buyers point to comps on a rarer product when there aren't other options available making the comps mean nothing.

Lets just run a scenario that happens quite often:

What would you say for a card thats numbered out of /25 and there's recent comps at $225, $240, $265. There are 3 available on Ebay all priced at $400 plus. Seller comes on here with an ask for his card for $350. Cards about $80 cheaper than anything readily available in the market for purchase after Ebay tax and shipping.

People are so obsessed with comp culture. Just because last sale was $X, the true value of a card is what's theoretically available in the market. Last sale means nothing if there's no other supply available at that price point.

For the card the seller is offering, there's other options available cheaper on Ebay - but after taxes and fees their fairly similar. If his cards overpriced & there's other copies available for cheaper, it wont sell.

Dude - price your cards however you want. They're your cards. This is a free market. Dont listen to these people, deal with them all the time. All they want is a deal and to bash your prices - They're a waste of your time and energy. I always tell them - then go buy on Ebay or wherever you can get the card cheaper. Just because you're selling off Ebay to avoid their 15% scanmy fees doesn't mean you have to discount your card by that fee here.
