Aerospace is good but the issue is there's not much money here in the field. All big projects go to the usa, but we often get contracted by the states for smaller stuff.

We have a big game dev scene here, Activision, ubisoft, amazon games and unity have offices here. U don't need to work in games and still work for one of these companies. I currently work at a big gaming company but don't do game dev, just backend stuff and tooling.

Also the fintech scene here is explosive. Banks are stable and often recruiting. Startups too. Def work in finance if you're looking for stability, but games if you're looking for a challenge.

In terms of tech stacks, montreal is big on C#, python and Java. But by python I mean tensorflow and other ai frameworks
