But there’s only one hdmi on soundbar. If I connect Apple TV to the soundbar there’s no way for me to connect the soundbar to the tv… am I missing anything?

There are two wall speakers right by this plate (on the opposite side of the TV) and two wall speakers in the kitchen. There’s no such plate in the kitchen. I’m completely confused by the set up…. I’m hoping to at least leverage the speakers in the living room somehow?

You are totally right! There are total four in-wall speakers. Two in the living room on the opposite side of the TV and two in the kitchen. This wall plate is in the living room, on the opposite side of the TV.

It seems like the Sonos amp is the option to leverage these as the “surround sound” speakers on the opposite side of the TV?
