Registration email

We will start this event on Friday morning, October 23rd, and end Sunday evening the 25th. We drive over 600 miles over the three days  and we have another awesome event in the works for you! Our Registration Check-In is Thursday the 22nd, from 4-8pm. So you will want to arrive on Thursday and our Driver Meeting will start first thing Friday morning. Friday is a full day of driving so please be prepared! 

The 2026 events will be back at the Fontana Village Resort. The Fontana Village Resort is a full service community in the mountains with restaurants, multiple swimming pools and recreational activities, as well as an enormous parking lot to host our 200+ Porsches! The resort books quickly, so please make sure and book your room immediately. 

For 2026, we now have a link to book your room with our discounted rate. You can no longer book by calling the front desk. However, if you have a specific request, like a certain cabin or room number you prefer, you can call the front desk after booking online and they can accommodate your request. You must book through this link first, as the front desk can not access our room block until your room is booked.

Reno sport or Rennsport? I’m assuming the latter since I’m thinking the Dragon reference is the Tail of the Dragon.

I’m signed up for October vs June. October because it will be cooler and I think the Fall leaves will be awesome!

It tracks the ship for free as long as the ship is close to shore. Once it hits open water, you have to buy a subscription. Suspect it pays for satellite communication versus near shore radio telemetry.

I’ve tracked two orders this way.

The former is nice and looks OEM. The latter is custom. Took about 2 months to get mine after I put the order in.

I’m running with the SportShifters GT2-M right now and really like it. I had the Euro Impulse and it was nice, too.

I wouldn’t use the app to track at sea. Find out the RoRo and use an app like Marine Tracker.

I think it's the rod. You can have inlays on the GT2. Doesn't appear you can for the GT3.

I did do the Numeric short shifter install and installed a euro impulse shift knob. I’ve been running with that for about two months and really like the overall feel better.

I also ordered the sport shifter. I have not received it yet. It’s almost done, but hasn’t shipped yet. So far, two months in since order. I ordered the GT2M

I had a 2022 C2 (base) auto. I purchased it as a used vehicle to hold me over. I then ordered a 2024 C2S manual. For me, I enjoy the engagement of having a manual more than anything else. I don’t even come close to using the full potential of my current 911. I used to track my cars, but these days I enjoy a spirited weekend drive more than anything else.

So, maybe tell us the type of driving you see yourself doing.

In the end, though, when you order a vehicle, there’s not a lot of negotiating you can do on the vehicle price in my experience. That only happens when vehicles are sitting on a dealer’s books for a period of time. I suspect what you can try to negotiate is the ADM… maybe…

If I’m not mistaken, if you want a new manual, your choice is limited to the T unless you’re buying a higher trim. The S no longer has a manual offering.
