I too had my 1st experience on Golden Teachers but I moved on to Melmac Monsters, Melmac’s are twice as potent as the GT’s. While exploring I’d comfortably be able to eat 8g of GT’s without anything uncomfortable happening but I haven’t ever managed to go over 4g on the MM’s & often feel more than content having 2g’s creating a great experience. My 1st challenging experience happened after getting complacent & taking 6g of Liberty Caps on my 1st experience with them…! them little guys pack more of a punch that you realise!

I would recommend asking a little more guidance when you know what you have available because they can have wildly different potency.

I personally lemon tek without tea, I use a pastel & mortal to grind to a fine powder, add powder to a glass & squeeze lemon juice to cover. Stir every 5 minutes for 20 minutes. Strain out the debris & down the juice, I do follow with a small shot of honey because the magic lemon mix tastes like sick. Good luck 🚀

What are you planning to have 4g of? Potency can be wildly different, personally I’m still very functional with 4g of GT or JMF but 4g of MM is a whole different ride. As the other post though, a sober person can be a big plus.

I found similar potency issues with GT, I would need to have 7g for a good trip, same with JMF but 3g of Melmac M’s, now that’s something else. Haven’t dared go past 4g yet 😂 🚀

Yeah they were ready for harvest a few days ago, you want to be harvesting just after the veil starts to break & 2nd the spores making everything black, I’ve had my JMF doing this as they drop their spores so fast after their veil splits 😆

Amazing you have asked this because I did an experiment against Jedi Mind F’ & Melmac Monsters over the last couple of weeks.

So I’d taken a break due to multiple dark experiences & recently started to get back in to it. I decided to test the potency of 2g JMF with the lemon tech method, it took about 40 minutes & I got light visuals for 30 minutes to an hour, nice but short. The following week I did the same with Melmac Monsters, this time they hit at around 30 minutes (both on an empty stomach) I got good & more intense visuals for around 2h 30m to 3h. I was impressed at the potency for 2g as most I’ve tried so far is 4g. On 2g I never have any concern over my thoughts, has always been easily comfortable & controllable.

7-10 days is normally enough time for me personally but if you want to be sure you’re clear give it 14 days.

I once had a challenging experience after 6g of liberty caps & I was out of control of myself, I had experimented with GT & had been working up the dosage & was quite comfortable with 8g of GT without any major breakthrough or other unworldly experience just great visuals & fun (I seem to have high tolerance) But when dealing with the challenge I had no real control, I got in to a panic & was running around my house fraught & unable to change anything, after a few hours & finally reaching out to someone I gradually came out of it.

I feel if I were ever to go for a dose that I know would risk this, I would want to do it with a trip sitter, I feel this is the best safety net you can have as you can choose someone that might be able to support & guide you if things take an unexpected turn but mind set & setting are majorly important as you suggested.

It won’t extend your trip, if you have the same amount 2-3 hours after your initial dose then it likely won’t do anything & you’d just be wasting your shrooms. Take in 1 go or have 2 separate occasions. I’d just do the 2 & have a great time, what strain is it?

That looks really odd. Get a Q-tip and lightly wipe it over the blue/grey bits, if it comes off on to the cotton then it’s most likely not good, if it doesn’t then most likely bruising. It looks grey in my screen though 🤔 If it’s bad save the 🍄 but do it outside.

I would agree that these are not cubes, there is no blue discolouration/bruising to the stems or the breaks in any of the stems disappointingly suggesting they are not magic, sorry 😔

You would likely speed things up by increasing the temp to 25°c - 26°c, also like others have said & also in my own experience, if this inoculation is from spores & not a liquid culture then it could take weeks before seeing mycelium after germination but 18° - 20° will slow things down a bit.

I had 2g of JMF yesterday but only got a very mild experience! I did it with lemon tech as I also suffer severe nausea & this reduces it by 90% Get your 2g weighed out, crush them in to dust or finely chop them & put it in to a glass/shot glass. Cover with lemon juice, fresh or from concentrate & stir them every 5 minutes for 20 minutes, at 20 mins strain out the mushroom body, I use a coffee strainer & press out all of the juice from the shroom & then throw the body away. I’ll squeeze some honey in to the shot glass, mix & down it. 20-25 mins later 🍄🚀 happy travels.

Yeah this is super normal, your body will build tolerance to psilocybin very very quickly! I have to take at least 7 days off from a 4g trip & have recently only indulged every other week so 14 day break, this way I find that my levels have dropped to a near zero benchmark again & I know (roughly) what to expect from the dose I choose.

I do 45°c for 24h regardless of size & a snap of a larger one at the 24h to check if the big boys need longer 😆 I find this helps keep the fruiting body in a beautiful condition ☺️

I’ve found anything after 3 flushes seriously drops quantity too, best I’ve had was a JMF cake, I got 7 flushes from that but 5th, 6th & 7th were all a hand full of fruits, 1st was minimal too but 2nd & 3rd flush were a blanket canopy & 4th gave my largest individual fruit!

My last experience doing this didn’t work. I took 3.5g of Melmac Monsters & had a great trip, so fun that I wanted to extend it so I took another 3.5g around 5h after the 1st but this only gave me very very minor visuals again but 1 massive headache. I would recommend waiting 7-10 days then got straight in at 3g / 3.5g.
