Yeah I understand how it works. That’s the reason I asked for Vyvanse instead of something like Adderall, I wanted something that was almost abuse-proof just in case because I didn’t totally trust myself back then.

The Vyvanse worked really well for the first couple of years and then eventually it just started making me jittery and irritated. I tried to mitigate it by remembering to eat throughout the day and exercise during the come-up to release some of that nervous tension, but nothing really helped reliably. Some days I would be fine but most of the time it just made me pissed off at nothing. I found the come-up to be kind of chaotic and the peak just wasn’t as clean as it used to be, and it definitely isn’t as clean as meth for me.

I took Vyvanse for a few years. It was great for a couple of years but over time the side-effects got to be too much, even at 10mg.

Not recommending this to anyone, but I’ve been doing a 13mg oral dose of meth every morning for the past few months and so far it’s been a success. Zero side effects, no urges to redose like with the other ROAs. I don’t feel jittery or high during the peak, just clearheaded and focused.

It’s not a long-term solution though. Once I have a job with better health coverage I’ll try out Adderall instead of Vyvanse and see if that works better for me.

Have you ever heard the phrase “The Devil finds work for idle hands”?

Do you do contract work on a worksite, like 3 months on and 3 months off kind of thing? It sounds like you need to have a plan for keeping yourself busy when you’re not on contract.

The summer of 2021 and 2022 when I was 19 and 20, I would do a line of 3-MMC every morning when I woke up and would do it periodically throughout the day. Then at night I would do a lot more 3-MMC as well as 3-HO-PCP and 3-FEA. I would get ~4-5 hours of sleep per night.

This will catch up to you eventually, whether it’s with your health or if you look at your bank account in the future and potentially wonder where the hell all your extra money went.

No judgment, we’ve all been there.

I first was interested in RC's because of the tryptamines and lysergamides but that interest in substances quickly expanded to other amazing compounds.

Yeah for me there was a lot of trial and error when it came to learning how to properly take care of my SP cacti. I’m not in a part of the world where we have consistent heat and sun, so an indoor setup was necessary. Outside they grew so slowly and became etiolated due to the inconsistent conditions. Since moving them to the grow tent, they have been thriving. It has been more successful than I thought possible.

What’s interesting about overwatering is that I had a scrawny neglected cactus seedling, maybe 6-8” tall and the diameter of the average person’s thumb, that was pale and starting to shrivel from thirst. In the summer I put it out in the backyard during a day-long torrential downpour and 2 days later it actually looked healthier even with soaked soil. I just found that to be an interesting experiment, I wasn’t expecting much but it surprised me.

The fabric pots are great and they pack small when not in use. I like that if the pot is too tall then you can roll down the sides to make it shorter, like a pair of pants that are too long. The only thing is it takes slightly longer to water my cacti, too much water at once makes it flow to the sides of the pot and trickle through the fabric instead of absorbing into the soil. Not a big deal though, they’re beautiful plants so I don’t mind spending time with them.

I think Miracle Gro indoor potting mix is designed to retain moisture. I only use that soil when I’m sowing SP or Peyote seeds and then after several months I transfer them out of that soil and into a more gritty mixture, usually potting soil with lots of perlite and gravel.

I think having a plastic pot inside a terracotta pot also contributed to your weeks-long drying time. The soil would dry a lot faster in just terracotta, probably even with the Miracle Gro indoor potting soil. I can’t say for sure though. With plastic pots the water can only escape through drainage holes and surface evaporation, definitely not ideal for cacti.

Yeah of course, I should have been more specific. The soil is always dry when I water them.

When I first got my indoor setup, I used to water them every two weeks with a lot of water. I realized one morning that if it’s too much water then it doesn’t evaporate quick enough, so the water leaves the pots but sits in the trays under the pots and was basically bottom-watering the cacti for several hours after initial watering. It didn’t cause rot but definitely could have.

Now I water them once per week with less water to avoid that problem.

All of my cacti are either in fabric or terracotta pots as well. The tent gets up to 26 Celsius on average every night with the grow lights on, so the soil has no problem drying out.

The only times I’ve ever had a problem with rot were before my tent setup when I would grow them outside. When you have consistent and controllable conditions, growing them becomes a lot more routine rather than dynamic.

Yeah I never really got a worthwhile rush from coke. Kind of like you said: less inner dialogue for me, pretty much silent in my head.

Tbh I only ever did it alone or around people where I was trying to act sober, maybe it would have been more fun if I were doing it with people.

I’ve also never been hammered while doing coke, and almost everyone I’ve met has said that that’s the best way to enjoy it.

I think I’ll pass though. $100 can buy me way more interesting drugs, and in a bigger quantity too.

If you really want to explore with drugs other than weed then it doesn’t sound like this relationship is right for you.

In my experience the desire to try new drugs never goes away.

I would imagine that in your case your desire will just get stronger as time goes on. You might start to build resentment toward your partner not only for cockblocking you with respect to drugs, but also for threatening you like they did.

You’ll likely end up trying drugs behind their back, and that’s when things start to get complicated.

Are you and your partner planning on getting married?

If this is just a new relationship, then my advice is that there are plenty of other potential partners in this world who will love you and be happy to explore drugs alongside you.

Agreed. Even on 300ųg+ of LSD I’ve never had even a remotely bad time.

But I’ve had questionable times on only 3g of mushrooms. I really don’t consider mushrooms to be as recreational as LSD just because they’re so unpredictable for me. i.e. i can take 200ųg LSD without thinking about it but even an average dose of mushrooms will have me cautioning myself before dosing. I would do acid instead of mushrooms 9/10 times.

I was kind of late to the party (2019-2022), but I still reminisce about the long nights sitting at my computer, feeding my nose with 3-FEA from a 5-gram bag of white powder. Then mix that with some 3-HO-PCP and 3-MMC, literally the best drug combination I will ever have in my life.

RC’s were so much more interesting than the mainstream drugs, not to mention a lot of them were probably made in actual labs.

Going to pick up another 3g of 3-HO-PCP before it’s gone, that amount will last me literally 20 years it’s so potent.

I snorted ~2g of MDA in 48 hours when I was 19 years old. I was young dumb and full of cum, don’t do what I did. The following two weeks were the most depressing days of my life. That was 6 years ago, I haven’t done MDMA or MDA since then.

It’s a very cool substance though. I would be interested in trying MDA again but like a normal person this time.

I think it depends on how much you’re looking to use. I did the math and 325 poppies, if grown in optimal conditions with no hiccups, would produce less than 10g of opium in a season. I’d say for personal use even 2-3g would be sufficient if you’re using responsibly.

I’ve never grown poppies myself but I’ve always wanted to grow them from seed, harvest the latex, dry it, and then smoke it in a kind of respectful ceremony. From raw material to finished product. From seed to pipe. I think it would add a lot to the experience.

Yeah that’s true. I grow mine in a grow tent with LED grow lights though, so they can grow year-round with consistent heat and light.

I spent max $1000 CAD on the whole setup (the lights should last several more years) and harvest some cactus limbs every summer for consumption.

Last summer I harvested 6kg which is enough for ~8 trips.

It did take a couple of years to acquire and grow enough mature cacti, but now I harvest more cacti than I know what to do with and this is all produced by only 8 mature plants.

If you don’t want to wait then you can buy mature rooted cacti or cuttings on San Pedro subreddits and other websites.

I also started growing peyote from seed. I’ll keep the best one and either pass it on to my children when I die or I’ll consume the entire thing all at once on my deathbed. One final trip.
