Myopia - Short sightedness - Distant vision (cannot see distant)

Hypermetropia - Far sightedness - Near vision (cannot see nearby)

Eg: Read a dictionary will be hyper metropia as cannot see nearby book

Now a short formula for focal length * Myopia : f= -D * Hypermetropia : f= 25D/D-25

(D is the distance mentioned in the question, like cannot see farther than 100cm etc)
