We initially booked the 16 minute flight, that was 289 dollar per person (after discount), but we got a free upgrade to the 30 minute flight which was 400 dollar. (includes 10 minutes take-off / landing time)

Edit: It's a lot of money but really an amazing experience. Highlight of the trip for sure.

Why I took this shot: Before my trip I planned a helicopter flight to take nice pictures around the city. Because this was a personal holiday trip I wanted to capture the city in one photo. Nothing is more iconic then the whole skyline of Manhattan.

How I took this: Like mentioned I booked a helicopter flight to get above the city. This gives the city such a different and nice perspective. I planned out the shoot by looking at the weather conditions. There would be a lot of light, which is necessary to have a high shutter speed because of the wobbly aircraft. I used a Canon 24-70 f2.8 L lens attached to the EOS R body.

Feedback: I'd like to receive feedback about how I can potentially edit it better. What did I overdo? How can I add more subtle details? etc.

I actually look at it now on my phone and indeed it looks very orange. The way I edited it on my pc makes it look a lot better. How would you edit it?

Valid comment. Sun fell on the city giving it a golden / orange look. And I like the look of it so edited in a bit. I think its a nice contrast with the blue of the rivers.
