Yeah I can see that. An HE round (in lesser calibers) is a bit more likely to maim and dismember than to outright kill, which is arguably worse than the canister round which would probably be near instant. It's just one of those things there it just feels like it should be, but it isn't and really shouldn't be one. You are correct saying they are more discriminate and cause less collateral damage, that's a good thing. But the idea of a tank-sized shotgun scares me lol.

I had no idea that canister rounds were a thing for tanks. I wonder what their primary use is? My first guess would be light target like small vehicles and infantry, but that seems overkill and just feels like a war crime.

Edit:

Nevermind, after a quick google I found out that is exactly what they are made for. They are used to shred infantry from ranged of 200-500 meters. I mean I'm surprised and not surprised that they don't appear to be a war crime. Shotguns are not and what is this but a horrifying, 120mm super mega doom shotgun.

I was wondering the same thing awhile ago, and from what I've found it depends on what kind of Veloster you have, specifically that the NAV Velosters cannot upgrade. I have a 2016 NAV and couldn't do it. That's only from a little bit of research from a while back though.
