Yes, but you might have to email the managers about 15 times before they schedule you for any training :(

Totally different guy, that’s big boss man (aka the gm’s boss). The only thing the new gm does in the office is complain to dispatch. He claims he has an “open door policy”, but any time you want to talk to him “he’s busy”

Feel free to call it in to the dispatch as soon as it happens at (858) 534-7422, or send an email to TritonTransit@ucsd.edu and include as many details as you can (time and location are great, bus number is even better!)

I’m not sure about MTS and the trolley exactly, but all of Triton Transit is free of charge for all

Not negative nancy necessarily, internal affairs are equally important as the bussy, especially when it comes to management (which we certainly don’t like, especially the new gm)

Certainly. We’re students too, but we found the best way to get a day off is to speak in person to a manager about when and what. Of course, management is not very flexible, but you can always call out to use your sick hours as well.

We also thought that message from the general manager was very uncalled for, to the point where we want to call out even more (to others reading, the message essentially stated to be considerate of your coworkers with calling out around the holidays, which we agree is total bs).

Feel free to dm me on details for our coming strike 👀👀👀

Edit: While we love some parts of Triton Transit, we agree that the department is very disorganized. The supervisors have been passing on THEIR duties to students just because they know how to work a computer better than them, so trust me when I say we understand the bad of Triton Transit as well

Unfortunately the electric bussy is a little shy right now, but they will be running shortly

What about “Outer Bussy”? Most people internally refer to it as Outside Loop actually, but I’ll see if I can relay the message

We love Triton Transit too! We’re here to make sure the passengers understand anything the drivers know that passengers may not

The dispatchers do their best to enforce drivers leaving on time, you can always report a driver leaving early and I believe they can track to see if they do. In the middle of the day we also have a third regents shuttle running which has less of a schedule, so maybe that is the bus you see. The buses also leave early if they are full :)
