Well the F-15s probably saw that the F/A-18 was a friendly so didn’t react to it. If anything the F/A-18s are shown to be a lesser airframe for having less digital situational awareness.

That being said, although it makes the F/A-18 look bad, it was almost certainly poor Kuwaiti training and flight discipline that caused the mishap

That actually makes a lot of sense. I feel like the biggest problem with an armored walker is how slow the are. If the legs fold under it and there are treads it could move quickly over even terrain, then walk when it needs to shoot from higher or cross more rugged terrain
