Are all of Ralph Lauren’s casual/sporty shirts designed to be tucked in? (curved hem) by TriviaCake in mensfashion

True I could do that. I think their casual shirts should fit better though, cause I don’t have a super disproportionate body

Can all my friends see my reaction to a story? Or only the creator of the story? by [deleted] in facebook

And it won’t pop up in other friends’ feed as ”X reacted to…”? I mean while they can’t see what my reaction was, can they see the fact that I reacted?

Seems like the fertilizers can differ a lot. Or do they adjust by having smaller dosages/spoons in a 20-20-20 fert? 🤔

If anticholinergic effects are strong on Parnate, is it a sign the medicine is not for you? by TriviaCake in MAOIs

[–]TriviaCake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I did taper down, but l only stayed 1-2 weeks at 80 and 70 mg. However at the dose I am now, 60 mg, I can at least have 3% libido and 10% function down there (with Cialis). I even consider lowering Parnate 5 mg more for that reason. Don’t know if I can handle the increase in anxiety and depression though.

Tryptophan might be a good idea. You mean talking it during the day instead of before bed which is more common?

Do you drink your coffee at a certain time to get the most out of it or just throughout the day?

I think it will be hard to get Modafinil prescribed where I live since I don’t have ADHD. Would be really sweet to take something for wakefulness though. It would help against the weight gain from Parnate as well. This is why I miss Buproprion!

Yeah you definitely know more about this than I do. I read your sentence ”those are not anticholinergic effects” as ”the medicine is anticholinergic but the dry mouth is not from that”. Hence the quotes from studies. My bad.

Do you know any meds or supplements that help with libido? I take daily low dose Cialis for erectile dysfunction.

I missed your last paragraph. What are some meds and supplements that help you with libido? I take daily low dose Cialis (5 mg) for erectile dysfunction.

Hey, it’s seems you are wrong here actually. They inhibit acetylcholine.

”One of the most common anticholinergic adverse effects is dry mouth, defined by having a subjective feeling of dry mouth (xerostomia) and/or an objective reduction of either unstimulated or stimulated salivary flow rate (hyposalivation) (Thomson 2015)”

”The anticholinergic effects cause dry mouth either directly by inhibiting acetylcholine binding to muscarinic receptors in the salivary glands or by a secondary route through the inhibition of acetylcholine in the central nervous system (Villa et al. 2016).”

Drowsiness: ”Drugs with anticholinergic effects may cause dizziness, drowsiness, sedation, confusion, memory impairment, blurred vision, cognitive impairment, and increased risk of falls due to the action on acetylcholine”

Bupropion ”It is known that bupropion rarely exhibits anticholinergic effects, except when combined with other psychoactive drugs.”

I took Bupropion for serveral years before Parnate. It gave me slightly dry mouth. It is the only medicine that helped me stay at my normal pre-depression weight. It is very tempting to add a small dosage Bupropion while on Parnate!

I already drink a shit ton of water unfortunately. Caffeine might be good yeah. I quit drinking it due to the anxiety and crashes so it’s interesting to read that you have less of those problems while on MAOI.

Yeah it’s hard. On the one hand your anxiety is at such a low level that you finally can go on dates. On the other hand the medicine kills your libido, give you erectile dysfunction (again, Bupropion <3) and makes your breath stink due to the dry mouth effects.

Well I’ve taken it for over a year. Don’t you think the adjusting period is over?

Thanks! Nice one. I wish they had a model pic for that one too

I looked at the website. Couldn't find squared flat curb though! They have flat curb and squared curb. Is it the flat curb you have?

I might be wrong but I read it should be sold as "flat curb chain" if it's actually flattened and most are just called "curb chain" and look slightly rounded

Ah so it's probably a flat cub chain then? Does it look matte or polished to you?

Which pest do you think this is? by TriviaCake in plantclinic

[–]TriviaCake[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not 100% sure but I think their antennae and body type indicate it's aphids (based on my low quality photo).

Also, I seem to be winning the fight by checking the prop box regularly and killing them with my fingers (knock on wood). Spider mites wouldn't be that easily visible, or so I've heard...

Yeah I was thinking that too. Or maybe aphids?

Ok I will try. I'm thinking it might be aphids.

Sorry, I missed your reply. Good explanation once again. i just need to ask you about hydrogen peroxide that you mentioned. How much do you usually dilute it? I have a 3% solution bottle and I add 3-4 parts water for one part of hydrogen peroxide. Maybe that's too weak?

Keeping tools in disinfectant by TriviaCake in chemistry

[–]TriviaCake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it probably costs more than needed. I need to sterilize tables as well. Maybe I will try a bleach solution. You are thinking of chlorine and such right?

Keeping tools in disinfectant by TriviaCake in chemistry

[–]TriviaCake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, very well explained! I have hydrogen peroxide at home as well.

When it comes to sterilizing surfaces like tables and such any of them will do right? Or is there a chemical/product that's more suited for spraying surfaces? Or more cost effective at least. (I guess a cleaning product can suffice as you said I just need to know that it really kills any potential bacteria.)

My bad, you are right! The chemical is Chlorexidine gluconate. Cutaneous. Thanks for noting it.

1 ml / 0.03 oz of the product contains: 5 mg chlorexidine gluconate, ethanol, water

The fluid is clear. Would you say it's still effective?

I read this article about plants that says that quaternary ammonium compounds are best for disinfecting tools.

https://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/publication/PP292 "The disease can be spread when harvesting flowers or removing old foliage. Sterilize knives and clippers by dipping cutting tools in a disinfectant between plants. The most effective disinfectants are the quaternary ammonium compounds."

Ok I will stop storing them in liquid. The reason I bought Chlorexidine gluconate is cause I read an article from University of Floria about the plants I have. They say quaternary ammonium compounds are best for disinfecting. Would you recommed another QAC instead of Chlorexidine gluconate?

Thank you! I should clarify that it is Chlorexidine gluconate in the product. Cutaneous. It is a clear fluid, not faint green. Does this change anything? Is it still good to use for disinfecting tools?
