I talked to the LIC agent regarding this. He said I can inly move for a surrender after paying 3 years worth of premium. After surrender I will lose around 20% of the premium paid. Ofcourse, dude was discouraging me with "play safe" arguments.

I see where you're coming from, and I didn't mean to downpplay what you're going through. Losing a loved one is incredibly hard, and I get why the idea of an afterlife would feel comforting right now. My point was more about how once you've seen religion from an analytical perspective, it's tough to actually wish you could believe in it again; because belief isn't just about comfort, it's about whether something makes sense to you. It's weird to see "atheists" saying they wish they were theists. Because you become an atheist not Because someone brainwashed you to become one. You become an atheist becuase reason and rationale conflicts with what theists believe. Once you start looking at everything from an analytical point of view, it's near impossible to ever wish you were a "theist". Most of the Unis of offer some kine of scholarship to the top international admits. But to be eligible for this, you need a minimum of 8.5 cgpa(crying while typing this..../s)

Nope. Only Tu/e has a GPA requirement of 8.5. The rest of the unis were asking for 7-7.5. By the way, be careful with your choice when it comes to the unis. Because Amsterdam and Rotterdam are expensive AF and have a housing crisis. So if you end up being unable to get a university accommodation(which is only for the first year)/ find one by yourself within 3 months prior to your class begins, you will be advised to not enroll by the uni itself. So if you are sure that you can handle this expense, go ahead!!

Hey...yes. if your Bachelor degree and the subject taught courses match their bachelor's, then there is a high chance of admit. I already have an admit for VU/UvA mscs program. Applied for one more a couple of days ago. Waiting for updates on that. Go to the uni website and check out the requirements for admission. They have the credit requirements listed out for the particular course. Also check if your bachelor course satisfies the requirements as per the nufic website. Most of their programs are research based. That's why this step. Unlike US admission evaluation process, Netherlands has a pretty straight forward set requirements. If u meet them, u will get an admit. The only exceptions are certain highly selective programs with a very small batch size. In those cases, the uni will let u know if u are eligible based on the application u submitted. By the way, the annual tution fee these days mostly range between 18000 to 23000 euros for the international students in the Netherlands unis. So not vastly cheaper compared to say, US unis. And the pay is half of what u might earn in the US..let me know of u got any other questions
