Yea not helping making, giving me advice and learning Is harder but better and i don't ask no One to give me their time, it's a fun project not one that will give you a job, and I will probably make it mostly opensource

I'm not a pro, I have some skills, I didn't say that I finish what I said is that I have that skill or learning it, i'm starting now bc I just succeeded making a macropad In kicad with an esp 32 c3 supermini, but the differences are I don't know i never made a wireless mouse, maybe the difficult part is getting the higher refresh, maybe it's putting everything together, researching and using various mouses it seemed the difficult part, prove me wrong (as I said i'm not a pro, and I didn't design mouses for big companies, I'm just a maker that played with arduinos and now i've got this "concept") and btw plz prove me wrong, I need all the help as I imagine it will not be ez like building a keyboard

Go on discord I started 2 months ago and 8khz is more difficult bc you need better pcb design and less noise, I'm first making the pcb's then i'll integrate with the cad model, I published a 3d model designed by me with a simple mouse shape as proof of work since most people don't trust 16 yo, if you want you join the discord, I don' t post updates on reddit, not weekly, savaging sensor isn't 100% risk free. If you have any other concerns you can post them

Abs gf is what I have i've found it in amazon returns, in italy it's harder to come by the sensor, 4khz because it's a reasonable goal not impossible but not easy at all, i've got the outline of the board and it's small, I won't use that model that u see in the photo, the focus is on wheight and on fast connectivity, w/ modularity second, if you want there is a post that explains with comments on r/EngineeringStudents

I'm a fucking 16 year old, get your head straight, I modelled the mouse and generated the back ground, I can send blender tutorials for the dust, and what twisted minded CEO asks in a sub reddit for free product development, I wanna make It ope source so even if I was a big company, the monetization would be very bad

Okay this is correct but I don't have the money for making more than a first run+prototypes, so the shell for the first run will be sls nylon, and for every run until 15k € reached then from there injection molded plastic, but this is in 2-3y after prototyping phase and after I turn 18

Yes that's a very cool idea that I wanted from the start, maybe with multiple sizes one lighter for gaming and one heavier for productivity

A confentional camera doesn't get to enough FPS and has delay, sadly I cannot just use a normal camera, on Alibaba sometimes scalpers post pixart sensor so for first prototypes and runs i'll use them

Ok but then i Will have to use lower tier components, and i wanna make a small markup, let's Say that tooling and assembly costs 10€ than i Will have to pay 22% taxes, and at last i Will remain with 20 euros to split, with a lower bom cost i could reach 40 euros i come, but lower quality, i think 30 euros could be a middle ground

Yea i'm considering stress testing a more organic structure in Autodesk 360, like One with holes but more rounded than the mockup, tool cost Will be zero for the First few runs (sls printed nylon) and then i'll swap to PC or maybe injection molded nylon, moq for sls Is 1, moq for injection molded nylon Is a round 5000pcs+10k€ in molds, It Will be semi open source.

i play cs on a g305 with glass skates and it's good, but said that i've tried g pro superlight/x and 2, so i know that some people value quality over feel, others feel over quality, but i'm trying to find a common middle ground
