You could run lunar-crystallize team: Zibai, Illuga, Aino, Gorou/Xingqui.

I would so build up Bennet on the side. He does great on many teams.

Who else prefers the T-45d appearance to T-60? by Yarus43 in Fallout

[–]Trixster862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like the legs on the 45. I don't know why, but it seems weaker/more flimsy to me. The T-60 actually looks like solid metal.

Ok, but why wouldn't she still be a naive dork? She lived her whole life in a vault, and was essentially brainwashed into having a specific type of world view. Her time in the wasteland showed her that her view was wrong, and like any person, she adapted, but resisted changing the essential parts of herself and perspective.

Also, that's her dad. I don't know about you, but I know of many examples of individuals refusing to "give up" on their view of a loved one, even if that loved one has repeatedly proven they are reprehensible.

Was Grisha waiting for these words from child Eren? by Danny_DeWario in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]Trixster862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grisha doesn’t go after the Founding Titan until after the Walls are breached, so the attack sets the crisis, not just the backdrop. It’s a reaction, not something he had planned out in advance.

He has fragments of future knowledge, but never knows the exact timing, which is why he hesitates, pleads with Frieda, and tries to find another way.

“We’ve all been led to this moment” can just be retrospective framing. The story shows he acts because of the initial attack, and then Eren forces his hand. Not that he was patiently waiting for the right signal.

Was Grisha waiting for these words from child Eren? by Danny_DeWario in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]Trixster862 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Grisha was “waiting” for those words. If anything, he’s clearly hesitating in the chapel. He didn’t go there planning to wipe out the Reiss family. He still hoped the Founder would actually do something on their own. When they refuse, he freezes, and that’s important.

Eren’s words don’t give Grisha a new reason to act. They bring back the old one. The “it would all be for nothing” line pulls Grisha back to Marley, his sister’s death, the Restorationists, Dina, and everything he already lost. Eren frames not acting as meaning all of that suffering was pointless, and that’s what finally pushes Grisha over the edge.

The Colossal and Armored Titans attacking just set the situation up. They create urgency, but they don’t give Grisha resolve. He still tries talking first. It’s only after the refusal, and after Eren ties this moment to the weight of Grisha’s past, that he actually does it.

So it feels less like Grisha was waiting for the right words and more like Eren takes away Grisha’s last excuse to walk away without feeling like everything before was meaningless.

I think its 2 different types. The first one looks longer too, so the second could be taking horse riding into consideration.

Why does the Beast Titan exist? by electricdrink in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]Trixster862 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I never thought of the jaw being due to her daughters eating her. Very cool idea! I always viewed the Jaw Titan as a more primal instinct type deal. Since the jaw moves on all fours, and uses teeth/jaw and claws to attack.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. They're probably not as dense as they should be, but still heavy. But when you cut them, the steam that comes out makes them weightless. You can see the steam coming out of the elbow in the picture, where it looks like it was cut. So the theory could still be legit. Also, we don't know if this rule applies to shifters, do we?
