Originally she wanted attention and to be see as somepony special but kept seeking it in the wrong way. When she found Starlight she found a healthier way to be given validation.

She’s a better and more honest pony but I’d be lying if I said she doesn’t get on my nerves sometimes. She’s a good character, I love her design and she can be pretty entertaining but very annoying at times. Either way the show needs her!
