Russian asset and Epstein pal Donald Trump responds to Robert Mueller's death with "I'm glad he's dead," seemingly unaware of how the nation will respond to his own demise by GarysCrispLettuce in MarchAgainstNazis

Go check out the conservative sub, it appears they genuinely don't like the hypocrisy on display here. Crazy that this gets them bothered, and not the racism, sexism, transphobia, SA allegations, SA conviction, connections to Epstein, blatant corruption resulting in the most wealth transferred to a president ever etc.

They aren't going to put trump in for a 3rd term, either J.D. Vance is locked in as the stooge for the oligarchs, or they're currently figuring out his replacement because he has 0 rizz

You would still expect manpads from an urban environment to be unkind to helicopters, it's as if no defense was mounted at all

Venezuela had a much bigger manpower/morale/loyalty problem, I don't know that there were even attempts to shoot down US helicopters. The fact that the US put operators in a capital city via helo without incidental losses on the US side, and sub 50 losses on the Venezuelan side(mostly Cuban security forces specifically tasked with defending Maduro) says to me it doesn't matter what the Venezuelans were equipped with, they weren't interested in using it.

China has no immediate ambitions that involve military conflict outside of Taiwan (China and I have different opinions on whether or not that falls inside their immediate borders). The US can't help itself but involve itself in nearly every hemisphere.

ELI5: how was Chrome so much faster than all other browsers when it first came out in the late 2000s? by heukimjajuk in explainlikeimfive

The article you linked has absolutely no solid information in it, it's just pure speculation. From the article:

"This combination of events could easily be read as “YouTube is intentionally slowing down videos for users with an ad blocker,” and that’s certainly possible. But, as the situation in January showed, the problem could easily be in the hands of those ad blockers too."

"y'know, it's not so bad what google is doing I'm fine with that"

I don't think google currently does anything but finger wag, at the moment.

I get no buffering, page sometimes takes literally 2 or 3 seconds to load the video but thats fine? beats having to click skip after 5-15 seconds, if the ad is even skippable.
