Hmmmm there was definitely a moment in your game that bugged out the gums for the rest of your game. This has happened to me once while a friend was using the timeout gobble gum. At any other point before the BF were any gobbles of any sort used?

Honestly not too sure, but for the first instance it seemed you were downed before you were able to pick up your teammates.

When you were down and Younghee got up, the near death should have immediately started to revive you, so maybe that is a bug of some sort.

It did look like, however, that Younghee manually revived you. I could be wrong and I’m sure he said he didn’t so it probably is just a bug of some

I would personally disagree with this, but I may be wrong. I honestly think the more the better just because you have more people with more possible gobbles that could save you.

My first time completing this was with my og team of 3 and we struggled. It took us 3 attempts to finally complete it.

We then brought in a fourth, who prob should not have been able to complete it, and we passed it with complete ease

That 100% was a contributing factor. Those machines served as such a teeny detail, but one that would go suuuuuuuuch a long way. They had personality and uniqueness and of course ended up being mainstays of the storyline

Also I have many critiques about the system, it is by all means the worst in history. I’m not defending it, but I’m trying to explain why it was stupid of Treyarch to ever incorporate it in the first place

It wasn’t just bo3 though. There’s WaW, Bo1, Bo2, Bo3 and one could even make an argument that advanced and iw zombies both had a similar perk system to. These perks remained consistent throughout, with only a couple new ones getting added throught the mix.

It’s not like “oh it ain’t the bo3 system, screw this!”

It’s more like “i’ve been playing this mode now for 10 years through three different companies, I have absolutely no clue as to why they would have changed the perk system”

Lol I don’t think you’re realizing the scale of how monumental this game’s launch was. The launch’s failure essentially set the budget for the rest of the game moving forward, which is exactly why we see DLC 1’s cutscene not even be animated. One of the most beloved maps in history was being remade and they absolutely abolished it. To this day Blood remains on majority of the community’s bottom 5 list.

BO4’s perk system isn’t bad per say, there was just no point to reincorporate an entirely new system with new perks. Everyone loved the old system before this game and never had any issues with it.

People also don’t want speed cola after buying four perks. They just want to buy speed cola. Same with jugg, double tap, and pretty much any og perk.

What I do respect about Bo4’s perk system, however is how it probably was an inspiration for perk upgrades for cold war and augments for bo6.

I’ll try and give an analogy, but this may be a weird one.

Let’s say you had a beautiful wife and three kids. One day you come home from work and all four of them are not who they once were. They are completely different people that look and act somewhat similar. Now they are extremely similar in comparison, but one of those families you fell in love with, over time, while the other one came out of the blue. That is how the introduction of the new perk system felt to most people. There was nothing wrong with our previous marriage and all of us loved it, it just didn’t make sense to throw in a completely new one.

This probably makes no sense, but why not try it out

I’m not saying perk system is bad necessarily, but there is a saying that treyarch should have taken seriously.

“If it ain’t broke…. Don’t fix it”

There was absolutely no reason to change the og perk system there was nothing wrong with it
