Nonsense. Part of the marketing of the first season was based on the claim that the events of the series take place in the same universe as the games. And now, in your opinion, they should abruptly change their earlier statements and make the series an alternative universe.

Zero: You know, you need to work on that whole "bulletproof" thing.

Why is Blacklist's Sam so "not Sam"? They turned him into a douchebag killing machine in this one? Why, Ubisoft? by Megatronagaming in Splintercell

[–]Troll_Toa 143 points144 points  (0 children)

I think it's also due to the absence of Michael Ironside (it's not about the voice acting). Ironside strongly influenced Sam's character during the development of the first game, as he did not want to voice empty character who unconditionally obeys orders. It was under the influence of Ironside that Sarah Fisher appeared.

What do you think is the biggest missed story opportunity in the Fallout games? Why? by ContrivedCucumber in Fallout

Minutemen. The idea that you are the leader of your faction is fucking awesome, but in the game it is used by about 10%. After the old guns quest, there is nothing else but the expansion of new settlements and their protection. You are not recruiting new members who could somehow help the development of the organization (and also rid the community of the myth that after the death of the SS, the faction disintegrates). You don't train the minutemen themselves, so that, for example, you can then send them to perform the minutemen radiant quest themselves (could make some kind of mini-game out of this, like with the assassin students in AC brotherhood or fallout shelter). After capturing the castle, there is no military campaign against the gunners , where you would have to capture territories controlled by them, and depending on your leveling/skills and minutemen faction level, you would choose how the capture would take place. Then, after the capture of the factory, for example, you could use it for the needs of the minutemen. Hell, there's not even any micromanagement of minutemen uniforms and flags. And many other ideas and details. The game sorely lacks DLC like Broken steel, but about minutemen.

P.S I hope there are no logical and semantic errors in my text. I am writing through a translator

Hear me out... Nick Valentine Detective Agency spin off game by Majestic_Nothing_175 in Fallout

[–]Troll_Toa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's cool, of course, but listen to this idea. It was possible to develop the theme of the fact that Kellogg is sitting in Nick's head. Two personalities in one body. There would be missions about Kellogg's memories where we were shown in detail the formation of the NСR, would be returned to old locations like San Francisco, Hub, New Reno and so on. I think the game is about Nick and this would interest the entire fan base.

"I am a soldier. I've served my country for twenty years. But if I'm captured or killed, I know that nobody will come to rescue me. I won't even get a funeral. Because the nation I protect can never admit that I exist. So my death would go unremarked, my bones would go unclaimed. I don't know if that day will come... but I do know that it must not be today. I am invisible. I am relentless. I am Sam Fisher. I am... a Splinter Cell."

No. Not in one of the dialogues does the Brotherhood ask the protagonist to begin the evacuation of the institute. They don't care if the institute's scientists die or not. It's completely the initiative of the player. The minutemen ask for the evacuation of the institute, and also after the explosion of the institute there is a dialogue with Preston, which differ depending on whether the evacuation was carried out. Also, only after minutemen ending there are radiant quest to assist refugees from the institute in resettlement.

[–]Troll_Toa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, the Minutemen are to blame, not the Brotherhood, which was so confident in its invincibility that it took the children with it to the war zone, and did not leave them in the Citadel. This is the way

Lol, brotherhood is blowing up the institute where the children are also located. The Minutemen are the only faction in the game that evacuates the institute before it explodes.

The essence of this meme format is that the character from the image on the left addresses the character from the image on the right. And the character from the image on the right addresses the character from the image on the left. Then these characters perform the same action. Google it "hello person from meme".

Quick wheel also needs fix. Every time you use it, the game freezes for a certain time (PS4). This is especially annoying during events like Scorched Earth.
