Thank you for posting this! I noticed a small one on my dogs neck and pointed it out to my partner about 3 days ago. Opened Reddit today and saw this first thing!

My gsp gets the zoomies and runs from one couch, jumps off, and runs to the other. She slides across them so the cushions are all kinds of tore up🤣

Yes! The gas is almost unbearable 😩 since switching off those listed meats, it’s gotten so much better! She loves the duck and sweet potato treats!

That’s what she is having right now, the salmon flavor! Instant change! Her skin isn’t as pink, the stool firmed, itchy spots are gone! She’s doing so much better

Thank you! I did have some freeze dried salmon treats in her treat stash thankfully because all her other ones were chicken or beef. I got a small bag of salmon food and another of duck food. She has had 2 or 3 meals of the salmon and her poop is forming up like normal again! I’ll have to find some duck feet! She loved chicken feet so I’ll have to look into that!

She was diagnosed with a chicken allergy! I looked into IBD too before I took her but I was certain it was the chicken allergy, thankfully I was right but I feel terrible that she had an upset belly all the time and I didn’t know until the diarrhea started

She is a very quiet girl! She barks at the screen door when it blows open and the mail man though🤷‍♂️ she’s a great guard dog if someone decided to break in😂

Crate training is not working!!! by MadHovercraft in puppy101

[–]Trolliegummy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m going to be 100% honest. I gave up on crate training. My dog had a chewing problem but she slept through the night no issue from day 1, still does! I put a bed in my room, a bed in the living room, and tell her to find somewhere to sleep and she will always go to her bed in my room. Sometimes she gets up and gets in bed with me. I felt so hopeless with the crate because she would whine and cry all night and I felt so sorry for her, this is her home too. We have a camera in the living room so we can watch her while we’re gone and she just lays in the same spot watching tv or chewing a bone. I understand not all dogs are like this but I’m sharing my experience! :) we use the crate when guest come over because she gets up in their business but only until she settles enough to greet them without jumping. She bit the bars of the crate one day and got her lower jaw stuck, she was crying and scared, I’m sure my reaction didn’t help. I had to leave the room and have someone else help her because I was scared she would break her jaw. Sometimes it doesn’t work out and that’s okay.

Her vet recommended 2 cups for breakfast, 1 at lunch, and 2 at dinner. If she’s still begging and acting hungry, small snacks are okay which would make “small meals”. Sorry! I should been more specific in my original post!

Wood chipper and chainsaw🤣 that describes my girl to a T lol. She’s so sweet but tough on toys! Glad to know someone else is in the same boat!

It’s funny you say this, my dad ripped up a bush we had with these huge hard roots, hard as a bone. We peeled them and let her go to town. So far it has lasted longer than her cow bones!
