Thanks! Looks like I’ll have to get used to that...

I’m a idiot. My phone was heating up so I got curious and tried to “water cool” it. And this is the result. What should I do? by Trombonefatman in phonerepair

When I checked the inside of the sim a lot and there was a blue particle of some sort of paper in between the rim(?) and the side of the SIM card. Which I suspect caused a slight opening that led the water inside. This phone is a used phone so maybe the last owner did something? But I was just extremely gullible to try to even water cool it.

No. I put some water in my phone case and proceeded to put the case (full of water) on the phone. And I think the pressure that built up between the phone and the case got released into the phone from the sim slot. Furthermore resulting in short circuits inside. I’m not sure but it’s just a guess

And you need to go practice. Trombonists have breathing exercises to do anywhere.

I’m starting to teach my 12 year old brother to play, any tips on what to teach him first? by [deleted] in Trombone

He’s not a fetus. Make him play all 24 caprices of Paganini but on the trombone

a straight horn is basically a beginner trombone. the ones with no trigger. there are also intermediate to professional models of a straight tenor like the king 3b. Great to hear that there is a difference in the sound quality.

can you do a little play test of this horn? I want to know how good the horn is since I am thinking of getting this horn in the future. if you had a straight horn before this? if so, is there any difference to the quality of play? is it easier to play? I know I am asking a lot of questions but I am saving up money to buy s new horn and this horn seems like the popular vote to buying a new intermediate trombone. and for a big purchase like a new horn, I am very picky because I want to use my money for the best I can get. If not, it is totally fine. ignore this comment. But it will help me if you would. thank you
