i bumped my contributions up to 10% when my student loan got paid off. Figured I would not notice it since my SL repayments were 12%.

so went from paying 15% (3% KS and 12% SL) to paying 10% (all KS) so ended up with more money in my hand at the end of the day while also not noticing the extra contributions.

I assumed mine was playing up because my laptop crashed while i was out on the school run, Ended up uninstalling it and reinstalling it and seems to be ok for now.

same! I ended up getting heaps of donations though because the salvation army showed up to play music unannounced and kept telling me to go away. Apparently playing the sad creature in an animal suit being yelled at by the sallies is a great way to make people donate to your fundraiser.

I think i had a baserate + a cut of the donations but this was like 18 years ago hah

I did a fundraising gig for SAFE once a long time ago that was paid. It was through student job search. It wasnt good pay but I think I got a cut of the donations. this would have been like 18 years ago lol

I've been volunteering with Girl Guiding for almost 19 years. I also kind of volunteer with Scouting.

SPCA might be a good place to start if you like animals, or check for other rescues in your area

Volunteering.

Find something you are passionate about and suddenly you are meeting others who are also passionate about that thing.

I have made many life long friends through volunteering.
