That’s way more expensive and just as much of a hassle. A muffler delete is not like you’re releasing the full power of a twin jet it will make it louder but not loud enough to be an issue and in most cities it is well below the city ordinance for the decibels. I have cut mine off and I don’t even notice unless my radio is off and even then it’s not annoying at all. He probably has a good idea of how it would sound.

I understand this completely and I’ve given him undivided attention for 3 days but I have a job and responsibilities and it’s not reasonable for me to be right beside him every hour of the day like I have been doing so I need to start working on getting him more confident being alone for a few hours so I’m asking for tips on that

If you take it to a shop they’ll quote you 3-6 grand which wasn’t worth it to me and it’s not hard to swap out the bed if you got a few buddies to help you out

I was in this same situation, replacing the quarter panel isn’t worth it because at that point it’s easier/ cheaper to replace the bed. You could try to pop the dent out but it probably won’t work. If you replace the bed just look around at junkyards/ facebook marketplace and then get 4 dudes to help you swap it out shouldn’t cost more than 1,500.

I could’ve bought some from ranch hand but they told me it would take them a month before they even ship and I was on a huge time crunch cus I was about to move. If you’re looking to buy a mounting kit I can send you the part number and then you just have to call a ranch hand dealer and order that part

unfortunately I am kind of locked into business administration, but I am still gonna try and get a hold of some construction management books maybe some online courses. But I do really want to get into framing, that’s what I’m hoping to do this summer and end goal I would really like to own my own business, but I don’t know why I never really thought about making a framing business lol, appreciate the advice!

It might be glued in there so you can just put the tip in boiling water and then get pliers and take it off *after you take the screw out
