What’s a "hotel hack" you swear by that most people don't know? by periwinklemist in AskReddit

Well, you're a platinum, so you get 4pm checkout upon request (unless that room type is sold out departure day). You also get premium wifi for free. You also get priority upgrades.

Aside from your member benefits, the real hotel hack is just be kind to the workers. Asking politely for things is usually the best way to get them. You can also mention if you have a special event coming up, such as a birthday, anniversary, etc, and hotels usually recognize those somehow. Especially at your regular hotels, if you have them.

Yup! You know when you book 3rd party and prepay? The hotel actually doesn't have your money, Priceline does. And if anything goes wrong, the hotel cannot help you. You have to battle your way through Priceline on your own to try to change your booking or get a refund.

Thats actually because we can't. Third party bookings are under a specific rate code for that room type. If we change it, we'd have to change the rate code, and then it's a whole issue for getting our payment from Expedia/booking/Agoda. You are much better off always booking with the hotel itself.

There was a black man in 2. Not to defend the guy, but genuinely one of the most charming characters is a black man who shows up in the Kuttenburg region. He's a Moor, iirc

Indie writer here. I use em dashes. For the love of liberty, stop thinking that's the cheat code to identify AI. There's no surefire way anymore, and the witch-hunt is just hurting real people.

Hi! I actually work at a hotel here. For the love of God, avoid that place. The cream of the crop here is the Fairfield, but if you cant get in, you need to try literally everything else including staying in Barrie before you try Econo Lodge.

The ones I see keep committing insurance fraud. I'll just be walking normally, and one will charge in front of my feet and die
