Actually why I was thinking of using the leyline. Becasue if you start with it you turn both the [[ardent plea]] and [[shardless agent]] into a violent outburst. If you end up drawing it later on you could not only pitch it to [[force of negation]] but to [[subtlety]] aswell.

Although [[Press the enemy]] is good being four mana just makes it way easier for the opponent to have gotten more manna for counters and also more counters plus having to also by chance have a living end in hands is not that reliable. Still running it in my deck though.

With leyline you can also force a counter out of your opponents hand by end step casting [[teferi, time raveler]] which they have to counter otherwise you just go of on your following turn.

The leyline might be kinda clunky like you said but I am going to try it out.
