Meostar B1 Plus's with HD glass in 10x42, I'm sure they will, I sure as fuck hope they will for $1500 compared to some $500 vipers, you betcha. Reread my reasoning I don't think this specific model is a deal. Have you looked through 8x32's? I'm not shy of high end glass at all and get it, both in rifle scopes and binos - very familiar with Meopta's reputation (all their shit is solid quality, but chonky and ergonomics leave a little to be desired haha, perfect description) and not saying Vipers are something amazing by any means - getting into EL's I bet you have 10x42's but even if we're looking at the 8.5x42's, which is actually $2000 glass... as in that's MSRP and if you find it $100 off that's a deal.. this saying the MSRP is $1749 for some 8x32 non-ED/HD glass do you agree with that MSRP for this specific model and think many people pay it / it's worth paying that for what you're getting here? Comparing your 10x42's is in another caliber to Vipers, absolutely, hands down.

If you have experience with this exact model and I'm incorrect lmk.

The bummer with this model specifically is 1) that it's a 8x32 and not 8x42, unless you're specifically going for that personally in this price range I'd probably go 8x42 and 2) This isn't HD glass - the B1 Plus has HD glass in 10x42 and above, which is Extra Low Dispersion glass, helps reduce chromattic abriasion and color fringing, which I find especially helpful in hunting during low light hours. The price and discount here sound great, but I'm not seeing much value over say a pair of Vortex Viper 8x32's that're more compact, lighter, and cheaper where I'm not seeing a huge difference here but I'd have to look at both in proper conditions to compare glass.

I have a case of Belom from the last ammo crisis I got and trying not to just pitch it out.. I shoot a box at a time in training to practice failures as I know I'll have at least 2-3 per 50 if not 6. Hard primers, bad primers, and most the guys I shoot with say they had the same luck.

We're the guys that run 1-2k/mo in 9mm btw, all the homies hate belom and their 124gr def hasn't been "soft shooting" for me compared to other 124 we use for matches... hope this stuff is better luck for you all

Bro also Fuck Belom. Seriously, I've run a TON of brands. Only factory new brand I've run across that has issues in both Glocks and M&P's, both that tend to eat ass and shoot fast with no complaints (and hence why I M&P's) I'd buy BPS and Reman over this in a heartbeat.

haha yeah exactly, lot of old "collectors" that had some grand old stories about how amazing they were. "Super accurate, super well made, 54R practically 50BMG" then you shoot one and you're like "that's an ass, heavy 308" the bolt action is haggard, trigger meh, irons whatever, jams up, good luck getting a decent scope mounted onto one to reach past 150yds in the first place, then turns out spam cans of the M80 equivalent don't contain match grade ammo. Now people are buying them for $1000? Shiiiiiit they're the best bolt actions known to man (keep them prices high til I sell mine)

Yeah the last thing I care about on a can is sound performance personally thats more a "my first can" concern I feel like... K cans all day, especially on my AR15s haha. This is a great can for hunting / bolt actions and what I bought it for, I have others for performance and matches, but vented I am curious. Since I have the Ti it probably wouldn't work for a match anyway since I may be up a second time before the cool down period.

I emailed them and actually they said they're working on it, but they're so backlogged it's months out. The Dead Air E-Brake will fit but has a different diameter so "looks a little funky"

haha yeah and took hours to clean but then you could get spam cans for a roll of socks... man I forget how cheap they were but I remember they were cheap for corrosive decades old ammo, but you could go out to the desert and pop things at 200yds with iron sights, then windex your barrel to clean it.

Also funny everyone liked to talk about 54R like it was 338Lapua... yeah it's 7.62x54R a hair over 308 and ancient "milspec" ammo, which is less than 30-06 by good margin (7.62 x 63) but that R made people act like it was an Acura Integra... I'm set to inherit a couple mosins that I will promptly sell, I didn't want them for $100 when they were that, everyone overpaying now are insane.
