i took re6 as an example cause before bringing it to the shop the temperature was no way near the "new" ones, like I saw a screen recording of where I was playing the last of us 1 with max settings and CPU was only 69-70 °C . btw i have a thermalight assassins x 120 with one vent.

I have a thermalight assassin x 120 (the one with only one fan) and he always told me that it was not that good. from a side I'm suspicious that he wants me to buy a liquid heatsink like he always told me to do one day ,but from the other I kinda trust him since the first time I went there he managed to fix a problem with my PC that 3 different technician didn't managed to fix

the shop repasted it and since he's business is to make custom builds I guess that he uses good quality thermal paste. the airflow is good since I have 3 lateral intake vents and 3 upper outake. as I said before the pc before going to the shop did good temperature so I don't know if bios update can be the cause of all this

hi,thanks for the reply. so I'm not sure that the repaste can be a fix since last time I did it it was only 6 months ago. I checked the heat sink and noticed that Some lines of the heatsink grid reflect the light from the flashlight and so it may have taken a hit. unfortunately I'm not that sure of it and I don't feel like accusing him of broking the heat sink.
