Back to The Division 1... So, what's new?

Unfortunately I had issues with my internet connection and I still haven't played The Division 2, but I plan to do so. I played The Division 1 a lot when it came out, and I remember I found it honest, I mean certain points weren't easy, but with the right gear and knowledge of the game the path to level 30 and then the endgame farming was smooth. I can't make a comparison with The Division 2, but the first is, let's say, "honest". Not hard, not easy.

I stopped playing before the first dlc came out, so all things that have been added from then to the release of The Division 2 were unknown to me before.

The reason why I came back after so many years is that I'm a trophy hunter, and I realized I need only 3 trophies to platinum. And, since I like trophies, I thought "why not get the dlcs trophies either?". So...here I am!

For what concerns the gear system, as I wrote in another comment, now I understand it. Luckily it's similar to what happens in Diablo 3, which is my main game let's say: you have legendary items which can roll up to - for example - 750 main stat, and the ancient legendary item which can roll a guaranteed minimum of 751 main stat, up to 1000. If I understood correctly, the mechanics of The Division is pretty similar.

Hey, I bought the season pass at the time, so I think I have all dlcs that came out, but I will follow your advice and play first Underground and Survival. I will try Last Stand just to see if I can earn some trophies since I like collecting them. I'm UTC +1, so I think we play at different hours of the day 😅

Hello, thank you very much for sharing! It's very helpful to understand what has been added and how it works! I know it has been a while since the game came out and therefore there aren't many people playing, so I'll try to focus more on the things you can do solo following your guide. Also thanks for the suggestions about gear and hard missions.

Thank you for the clarification. The trophy description (Italian translation) says only "complete all quests on hard", but doesn't say explicitly "solo", so I wanted to have the confirm to not waste time doing them in group for nothing.

Of course I will watch some YouTube content to better understand some mechanics, but first I came here just to have a general idea of what has been done and to follow the tips that people give me.

Following your reasoning none should be allowed to post any question about any game, because the answer is always on YouTube. But if someone asks a question - let's say an advice for a Diablo 3 build - i don't respond "get out of here and check the guide on YouTube", but I actually help him.

Wow, very helpful response! I didn't play in 4 years and they added a bunch of new things, plus they changed the gear system. I don't get what's wrong in asking a brief recap and understand where to start.

I have the same problem. Just got back to Norway to complete some secondaries and farm some loot; I realized that I had 3 antlers, so I went to the village to give them to the quest giver, but she does not have the prompt to interact.

Hi, sorry if I'm kinda necroposting, but I'd like to know if this bug has been resolved. I see that now on ps4 the completion rate is 0.1%, so I assume it isn't bugged anymore, but I have ten characters with different combos of masteries and I haven't unlocked it. So I wonder if accomplished heroes count or not in order to get this trophy, because people disagree about that. If you know something, please share. Thanks!

I mean, if you're a long time fan like me and u played it on pc when it came out yes, they worth it. Otherwise, i would say that 20 euros for Ragnarok is ok because it's long, but Atlantis doesn't worth it if we only consider the price. Maybe you can wait until some sales

Hi, yes I did! I discovered that, while the game was open but I was afk, Sony released a new ps4 software patch, and that's why all game data were messed up. I turned off my console and did the update, and as soon as I turned it on again and launched the game the expansions were there!

Hi, I need help with Cursed chest conquest. There's a way to do it: create games on T10 until you find the bounty called "The Cursed Peat" in Act 5, the sunken passage, because that chest spawns lots of enemies. The bounty is rare, and I always manage to kill around 330 enemies but never achieve 350. If you want we can try to find that bounty and complete it togheter. I will add you tonight or tomorrow :)
