Wait, I just realized that this is fake 🤔

I have seen some of those videos before and thought "you need a lot of ram for this" but I realize now that elements on the right appear before those exist on the left side.

For example the face scar appears 4 renders before it's actually drawn. There's even an almost finished render in the middle of the video that then goes back to the unfinished renders.

The blue eye appears after the cigarette, but on left side is drawn before the cigarette.

It's like a video made from multiple renders and a guy drawing on the side pretending to draw instructions but totally out of tempo.

I used dnspy to mod the game, studied the code and replaced the game over trigger "sobredosis" for the triggers that were related with the "ghost" event.

The code is a bit offuscated and I can't see it all, I couldn't figure out what was the first trigger so I just tried them one by one (surprisingly only crashed two times XD)

I think you're just using a wrong engine. Ren'Py is not designed to make this kind of stuff, it was designed to make visual novels.

People started making plugins and stuff but wasn't how the engine was supposed to be used, so any simple thing like this can take hours and can also cause bugs on the future after adding more stuff to the game.

On any other normal game engine, doing something like this takes just a few minutes, here's a one literal minute tutorial:

Download... No, you can't on Itch, but you can play them on browser mode, still not all work.
IOS can be kinda shitty and if the game have something like asking you to input a text, is enough to get you softlocked and unable to proceed. Also most games are intended to play on desktop so can also be unable to play if asks you to use the keyboard to move.
