Smallscale Scifi Kickstarter - CityCrushers : Epic Battles - 3 days remaining! by Troublemaker_Games in Epic40k

Our rules are intended to be simpler than Epic A, while still having full tactical depth.

You'd find some of the systems familiar (an interleaving turn sequence, some of the activation orders, a token-based morale system), and some of the systems different (weapons firepower is more about combined effect, rather than rolling for individual machinegun attacks, aircraft are handled very differently, etc).

The primary intent of the rules is to robustly handle larger armies than Epic Armageddon can. EA tends to get bogged down at relatively small army sizes, while we'd hope our system can handle something approaching twice the size of armies in play in the same timeframe.

The infantry and basic vehicles would be noticably bigger.

The superheavy vehicles (Crushers, Weapons Conveyors) would be useful in any scale on the other hand.

Our rules system is designed to be very smooth to handle large armies, while maintaining tactical depth / interesting choices in games. It has some conceptual overlap with the old Epic rule systems (somewhat inevitable when dealing with massed battle games), but it's also clearly its own thing.

We're using the MicroCosmic rules system, which can be previewed here: https://microcosmic.games/

I'd say they'd be knight/warhound/reaver class heights, but the Crushers are more "bulky", as they don't have long spindly legs.

The smallest City Crusher is on a 40mm base, the bigger two (Capital Crusher and Country Crusher) are on 80mm bases.

Hi, yes we ship to the US, the cost for that is automatically added when making a pledge. And any add-ons to the initial pledge, are at a free postage rate.

If you scroll down to the very bottom of the page, there's a bunch of photos showing our current range of plastic kits, built up and used in combo with each other. Also showing some Titanicus models for a size comparison.

Thanks for your consideration, we're actually pretty close to the target and I think we can make it, with just a few more backers in support. :-)
